Caroline nodded and went upstairs to her children’s room

Neil was still telling a story to the children softly when he saw Caroline come in. He immediately

After that, he put the book down and quietly walked out of the room. He closed the door and asked

in concern, “Carol, you’re pale. What happened?”

Caroline touched her face and replied honestly, “Nothing. It’s just that there was a criminal at the

exhibition.”

“A criminal?” Nail raised his voice and inspected her, holding her arms. “Are you hurt?”

Caroline pressed his arms down. “Neil, I’m fine. Don’t worry. I was just scared.”

Neil sighed in relief. I’m glad to hear that. You scared me.”

Caroline smiled before she became serious. “Neil, the next week is approaching.”

Neil’s face sank. “I know. I’ll organize Grandpa’s birthday party and expose Daniella’s vulgarity to

everyone.”

Caroline was still worried about that affair. “Neil, I think it won’t be that simple.”

Neil touched the tip of her nose dotingly. “Carol, you’ve gone through too much recently. We’ve

been preparing for this for such a long time. Nothing will go wrong. Don’t worry.”

“I still think that’s not enough.” Caroline frowned. “Currently, the only thing we can pin on her is

her impersonating me. We still don’t have enough evidence for the heinous things she did to me.”

Neil chuckled. “We have to go one step at a time. The fact she impersonated you and took your

Neil replied, “Alright, you’re tired. Wash up and rest. I’m going home.”

Caroline was about to turn in at 11:00 p.m., but Scott texted her.
