Chapter 377 Come With Me

The triplets were heading to school after breakfast when they spotted Evan.

The kids and Paige were taken aback.

“Mr. Jordan,” Paige called out.

Evan glanced at Paige, nodded, and then shifted his gaze to Axel.

“Come with me, Axel,” he said.

Axel gripped his bag tightly, stood with pursed lips, and avoided eye contact.

Evan frowned, unable to understand Axel’s hesitation. “You used to come when I told you to. Have

you suddenly started disobeying after just a few days?” he asked.

“Axel Jordan“” Evan’s voice grew colder, and he seemed displeased.

“Stop shouting! You always take Axel away, but he’s also Mommy’s child!” Liora glared at Evan.

Evan narrowed his eyes. “So what if he is? I have custody, so I decide where he goes!”

Liora was stunned and confused by Evan’s words. She could tell he was speaking to her in an

unpleasant tone.

Liora clenched her top tightly as she remembered seeing Evan fail to protect her mother during

the severe beating on surveillance footage. She decided she didn’t want him as her father–the bad

man didn’t deserve her affection.

Motivated by anger, Liora rushed over to Axel, grabbed his hand, and leered at Evan. “I don’t

understand what you’re saying, but you can’t take Axel before Mommy gets back!”

Evan’s face darkened. “Are you testing my patience?”

Evan’s dominating presence terrified Liora, and her body stiffened. Memories of Brandon grabbing

her hair and throwing her away filled her mind. She feared Evan might attack her like Brandon.

Seeing Liora’s pale face, Paige and Tyler hurried over to her.

-Paige picked up the stunned Liora and spoke to Evan. “Lia is still a child. Please don’t lose your

temper with her, Mr. Jordan.”

Tyler glared at Evan and said coldly, “Please don’t be harsh on Lia. She’s been through abuse and

can’t handle it when others are harsh with her.”

Evan was stunned. “The child has been abused?”

He felt mixed emotions and spoke more calmly. “I’m not the kind of person who would harm a

“Can you please give us a reason?” Tyler asked calmly.

Evan explained, “His grandmother has passed away, and her death is somehow connected to your

mother.”

Tyler replied, “So this is how you see Mommy.“.

“The facts speak for themselves, Axel, do I need to repeat myself?” Evan turned to Axel once more.

Axel lowered his head and mumbled, “Sure…”

“Bad man!” Liora shouted after recovering from her initial surprise. “You’re a bad man! I won’t allow

Mommy to be with you because you don’t deserve her!

“Mommy treated Grandma so well. She cooked for her and slept with her every night. Yet, you seem to

think that Mommy put Grandma in danger. If Grandma knew about this, she’d hate you in

heaven! Go away! We don’t want to see you anymore… Boo–hoo!”

Liora reprimanded him through her tears, her sobbing figure heart–wrenching to witness.

Axel’s face turned pale. He realized he couldn’t stay any longer, or his father might harm his

sister if this continued.
