Casey hesitated briefly, wearing a calculating expression. “Tonight? I can’t. I already have dinner plans

at Luxe Dining.”

“Luxe Dining?‘ Daniella quickly understood. ‘Is Caroline his dinner date?”

“Is that so? How about we have supper later then?” Daniella pretended to be disappointed.

Casey remained silent for a moment. “I might not make it in time.”

After hanging up, Daniella quickly got up. She needed to investigate the situation at Luxe Dining

and figure out a plan to get to Casey before Caroline did.

At 6:00 p.m., Caroline arrived at the private room and found Casey already seated inside.

Casey’s heart raced as he saw Caroline in a white dress, recalling a vivid memory of riding Jamie

while she wore a similar dress. The erotic image excited him.

Suppressing his urge, Casey put on a fake smile. “You look stunning, Ms. Shenton.”

Caroline smiled and locked eyes with Casey as she sat across from him. “Thank you for the

compliment.”

Casey motioned to the menu. “Feel free to order anything you like, Ms. Shenton.”

Caroline was in no mood for formalities. “I can afford this place on my own.”

Casey paused, reaching for the menu. “I apologize for forgetting that you’re a business owner.”

Caroline got straight to the point. “Let’s discuss the important matter. Do you think Evan will

show up?”

The waitress looked at the private room and then at Daniella. “Miss, do you know the guests inside?

Would you like me to open the door?”

“It’s fine! I’m taking the private room next door,” Daniella said impatiently.

The waitress nodded. “Alright.”

As Daniella walked into the private room, she overheard their soft conversation mentioning Evan and

stopped in her tracks.

‘Evan! If Evan were to show up now, he’d disrupt the dinner, right?” she thought.

Daniella quickly grabbed her phone, opened an app, and texted Evan from an unknown number.

Reuben stopped the car in front of Villa Rosa, but Evan didn’t get out. He was about to ask when Evan

spoke coldly. “Find out why Casey asked Caroline out.”

number. His pupils constricted, and a chill washed over him as he read the message.

Ten minutes later, Reuben parked the car in front of Luxe Dining.

Evan stared at the restaurant solemnly. He hadn’t expected Casey to choose a location so close to

The waitress hurried over but was stopped by Reuben. “We’re looking for someone,” he said. The

waitress remained silent, intimidated by the handsome man’s imposing presence.
