After leaving the company, they quickly rushed to the scene.
Upon arrival, Reuben immediately engaged with the inspector.
âHello, have you found any remnants of the helicopter?â he asked.
âDo you guys know the people on the helicopter?â
In response, Julian hurriedly explained, âWeâre family.â
âItâs like this. Weâre very lucky to find the black box. Go over there and take a look.â
Following a brief exchange of glances, Reuben and Julian swiftly moved to inspect the black box.
Upon locating the detective, Reuben greeted him, saying. âWeâre the family of the victims of this plane
crash. May I ask if the black box is safe?!
âWeâre going back to the police station to check it out. Come with us if youâre family,â the detective
replied.
Half an hour later, the detective brought Reuben and Julian back to the police station.
The technical department promptly commenced the analysis of the black box handed over by the
detective.
After two hours, they successfully retrieved the recording.
As Reuben put on the earphones, Evanâs voice resonated, filling him with deep indignation.
âMr. Jordanâ¦â
Observing Reubenâs prolonged silence, Julian furrowed his brows. âDid you hear any voice? Whatâs going
on? Is it Mr. Jordan?â
Reuben gloomily removed the earphones and handed them to Julian, speaking hoarsely. âListen to it
yourself.â

Julian hastily put them on. Upon hearing the voice, his legs gave way, and he took two steps back.
âItâs⦠Itâs Mr. Jordan⦠Julianâs lips trembled endlessly.
Reuben turned to the detective of the search team nearby. âHow about the body remnants? Iâm sure there
are some body remnants even if the helicopter blew up!â
The detective glanced at Reuben. âItâs already a miracle we found the black box so quickly. Weâll keep
looking for the body remnants. Just give us your contact, and weâll call you once we find it.â
Leaving the police station, Reuben felt like a walking dead. He blamed himself for not checking his phone
and allowing Evan to board the helicopter.
