Chapter 2011
Punished by His Love
Chapter 2011
He tried his best to conceal his own guilt. "Mm-hmm. What-what did you say?"
"Sir, what were you thinking of just now? Do you have any decision?" asked one of the regional
managers.
Sebastian was speechless. There was a pause. "Well, regarding my grandfather's matters, I may
be occupied for a couple more days. All of you still need to pay more attention to the company's
affairs."
After saying that, he did not explain any further, but he got up and left the meeting room. After he
returned to his office and signed all the documents that he needed to sign, Sebastian raised his
wrist to take a look at his watch. It was almost half-past ten, so he packed up his briefcase and
came out of the company.
A car was waiting downstairs at the Ford Group, when Sebastian was seen coming out of the
company, both Nigel and Minerva got out.
Nigel called out, "Sebastian, Minerva wants to pay a visit to her uncle."
Sebastian noticed that Minerva's eyes were swollen from crying. She looked at Sebastian
respectfully. " Mister Ford, can you take me to see my uncle?"
"Followme," said Sebastian.
One hour later, they arrived in front of the grave where Grace and Holden were buried. At that
moment when she saw Holden's picture on the tombstone, Minerva instantly burst out bawling.
"Uncle Holden... Uncle Holden..."
She cried in such a sorrowful and miserable manner. Both the men standing behind her,
especially Nigel, could not help but feel pity. He had never expected that this young lady valued
relationships so much. In the past year, Minerva had always been with him, but the two of them
did not do anything. Nigel was simply responsible for her living expenses, housing, and so on. In
fact, every time Nigel gave Minerva money, Minerva would refuse. That was because she has a
million dollars that were left to her by Holden, she had been very frugal with her money. She had
never eaten fancy foods and never splurged on anything.
Although the young lady looked a little ugly, Nigel found her to be more and more good looking at
that moment, she had a kind of neither arrogant nor humble and hardworking beauty emitting
from her bones. It was particularly so when she knelt in front of Holden's tombstone and kept
saying. "Uncle Holden, why are you so silly? Uncle Holden, you're not well behaved at all. why
were you so pessimistic?
"Even if the world had abandoned you, I will still support you. You just have to wait for me for ten
years. Ten years later, I would have graduated from college and joined the workforce. I definitely
would have supported you and I never would have let you be alone, Uncle Holden. Uncle
Holden...Uncle Holden... don't die, Uncle Holden. Come back to the living, alright? I also don't
have a family, Uncle Holden..."
She knelt in front of Holden's grave and she kept wiping on Holden's tombstone. Her tears
gushed down her cheeks and landed on Holden's tombstone. Sebastian, who was behind her,
did not know what he was feeling in his heart when he saw her like that. He kept silently
muttering in his heart, 'Holden, look. You didn't suffer any losses now. You're lying in mom's
arms, and you can be with her all year round. In the land of the living, on the other hand, you still
have a niece who loved you so much. How happy you are.
Tn the future, for every new year, your birthday, and also your death anniversary, I'll bring Aino
and Minerva, as well as your nephew that you had never met to visit together. Rest in peace, my
brother, my dearest brother, my younger twin brother.'
Sebastian secretly wiped away the tears around his eyes. He was unlike Minerva. After all,
Minerva was a child, so she could cry her heart out and express her feeling of missing Holden
without any concerns.
Sebastian, on the other hand, could only bury this kind of pain and sorrow at the bottom of his
heart.
Because he still had to handle the funeral at the Ford Residence after that, after he had sent off
Minerva and Holden at the cemetery, Sebastian went back to the Ford Residence. As soon as
the car stopped, the housekeeper of the Ford Residence came to Sebastian with great worries.
"Master Sebastian..." 2
"What's the matter?" asked Sebastian calmly. "Your father...is sick," said the housekeeper.
