Chapter 561
Unspoken Hearts: My Neglected Mute Wife’s Escape

Saniyaâs voice was ice-cold. âIf I cut here, youâll only lose your womb, not your life. But if you come with me, I can guarantee youâll survive until the day you deliver the baby. The baby will be well taken care of after itâs born. Now, choose.â
Kallieâs hands were clammy with fear.
Edgarâs anxiety spiked as he saw that Saniyaâs grip on Kallie remained firm.
Just then, Saniyaâs accomplices appeared, their voices urgent, pushing her to move faster.
Edgarâs eyes were sharp. He immediately spotted one of themâthe same bastard whoâd hurt Jake that day. His stomach dropped. A wave of anxiety washed over him.
Edgar desperately wanted to warn Kallie but was terrified of tipping their hand.
Kallie caught Edgarâs look. Her heart hammered in her chest.
Saniyaâs patience wore thin as Kallie hesitated.
âTen seconds. Thatâs all you get to make up your mind. Or Iâll make it for you. And just so weâre clear, one of your kids stays with us. If you donât hand over the one youâre carrying, Sophie will be with us.â Saniyaâs smile was pure evil.
Kallieâs mind raced. She trembled from head to toe. Sophie and her unborn child. Fear wasnât the issueâit was the agonizing uncertainty. What the hell was she supposed to do?
Saniya started the countdown. â10, 9, 8â¦â
At 5, Kallie blurted out, âHow do I know you wonât hurt my baby?â
Saniya clicked her tongue, annoyance flashing across her face. âLetâs cut the crap. I donât want your baby. My boss does. He messed up Jake, and he can damn well take Sophie. Heâs giving you a choice only because heâs got a thing for pretty women like you.â
Kallie closed her eyes, despair washing over her. âFine. Iâll go. Just keep my baby safe. You canât touch Sophie.â
Saniya was feeling smug. She gave Kallieâs cheek a playful pat. âYou couldâve just told me sooner,â she said. âYou made me put on this whole dumb act for nothing.â
Kallieâs suspicion was correct. The Saniya everyone knew was a facade. Saniya had been playing a part, pretending to be Kallieâs enemy. The truth was, sheâd been trying to get close to Kallie.
Saniya had purposely irritated Kallie and allowed Jake to take control of her. Then, sheâd dangled the bait by claiming to know where Evita was.
The whole time, the mastermind had been after Kallie and Jakeâs unborn baby. Kallieâs mind raced. Why were they so desperate for her baby? What was so special about it?
Saniyaâs men led Kallie onto the plane.
Kallie glanced back and shook her head slightly at Edgar, who looked terrified. She signaled for him to stay calm and not do anything rash.
This was the worst-case scenario, the one sheâd been dreading. But she had prepared herself for this possibility, so she managed to stay somewhat composed.
Edgar watched helplessly as they took Kallie away. He slapped his own face in anger and frustration. Heâd failed to protect her.
