Chapter 504 A Walking Fashion Disaster
Beyond the Divorce
A Walking Fashion Disaster Ivanna had already been discharged from the hospital, but Jared was keeping a close eye on her movements for her safety.
I picked her up, intending to head to Arkadia Plaza. Just as we arrived at the plaza, I spotted Harmony emerging with bags galore.
Ivanna glanced at me with a teasing smile. âRetail therapy?â I noticed Harmony struggling with a bunch of paper bags. It seemed like she had done more shopping, but something felt off. Her outfit had a peculiar touch that wasnât in line with her usual style.
âHa! Looks like sheâs found a new person. Despite the ban, sheâs still living it up. Back when she was riding high, she wasnât this extravagant! Now, itâs all about luxury brands!â Ivanna watched Harmony struggle to the parking lot.
âShall we go?â I said after parking the car.
âJust look at her. She is a walking fashion disaster!â âYou've noticed, too?â I looked at Ivanna. âThis dress looks quite like...â Before I could say âmine,â Ivanna uttered, âyours.â We exchanged a puzzled look and said, âIt is similar!â
âBut sheâs only scratched the surface.
Her aura is all wrong. It just looks awkward!â she remarked before __ turning to me. âLetâs go. This woman is a fashion disaster.â I chuckled. We both got out of the car and headed inside, strolling and discussing Lauren along the way.
âNo news from Lauren?â Ivanna inquired.
I sighed and shook my head. âNone. A few days ago, Oliver came to see me.â âPeople always realize someoneâs worth after losing them,â Ivanna lamented. âLet him feel the pain.
Either let go or get her back!â However, I had my doubts. âThis time, Iâm afraid Lauren is truly hurt.â
Together, we arrived at Sautoir Fine Jewelry. Ivanna pulled me in, saying, âLetâs see what new items they have!â I knew this was a flagship store under Atlasâs name. This jewelry brand was among the best worldwide, with prices that could make oneâs jaw drop.
Usually, I paid little attention to these things. I didnât wear jewelry often, so I teased Ivanna, âWhat's this? Refining your taste? Going extravagant?â She shot me a look. âWhatâs wrong with that? Canât I have my eye on something nice? Shouldnât we give Mr.
Atlas a call? Maybe we can get a discount!â I couldnât help but chuckle. âHah! Bold of you to ask for a discount from Atlas.
Can Jared not afford jewelry?â
As we browsed, I heard a salespersonâs complaint, âSheâs got some nerve, hasnât she? She just hauled awaya bunch of stuff, and now sheâs back in a new outfit. Does she think this place is her personal jewelry box?â &» âOh my! Megan, do us all a favor and keep it down! Donât stir up trouble! Letâs just focus on our jobs!â Another voice chided.
âBut sheâs pushing it!â The other salesperson's tone raised slightly.
Just then, Ivanna nudged me, redirecting my attention. I hadnât caught the rest of their conversation.
Ivanna was admiring an Azure Heart bracelet made of white gold and set with a sapphire that resembled the sea.
The entire piece was stunning, and I called out to the salesperson. âCould you take this bracelet out for us to loek at?â âMs. Chloe, not satisfied with the last round?â she sneered. Her sharp features were now painted with disdain.
