Chapter 154
A Divorce After My Rebirth
Chapter 154 Utter Chaos
Isabella flipped through her suitcaseâthe one Yuvan had personally delivered and placed in the
cabinet.
She opened it, searching for her phone. However, after going through the empty suitcase and feeling
through each piece of clothing, she still couldnât find her phone anywhere.
âMs. Morgan, itâs time for your medication, a servantâs voice came from outside.
Then she heard the servant say in a displeased tone, âWhy did you mess up the room like this?â
Isabella asked in the same displeased tone, âWhereâs my phone?â
She needed to make a call!
She had to call Yuvan and Cedric.
She needed to leave this place!
Christina⦠she was too terrifying!
What she had seen before was nothing compared to now.
This time, Christina had truly revealed her true colors before Isabella.
Isabella had to admit that the woman was frightening!
She shuddered to think what kind of poisonous methods Christina had used to deal with all the other
women who had once pursued Cedric.
Poisonous wasnât even an exaggerated description when it came to Christinal
Christina liked Cedric, and she adored him. That was an overwhelming kind of love. If she couldnât
have
him, she would destroy anyone who tried to take him!
In the end, only she would remain.
That was Christinaâs goal.
âMs. Johnson said your eyes are not in good condition right now, If you need or want to contact
someone, just let us know directly. She has already taken your phone!â The servant said flatly, her
voice devoid of any sympathy.
This kind of Indifference made Isabella even angrier.
right does she have to take my things? she roared, the sound reverberating in the room but unable
âMs. Morgan, you should just be content. The Johnson family will take care of everything you need. All
you have to do is take care of eating and sleeping!â
The servantâs words essentially meant for Isabella to wait for death passively!
Thinking about her situation, Isabella felt a chill up her spine. She had never imagined she would end
up in
such a plight.
First, she lost her eyesight with no hope of recovery.
Now, thisâ¦!
It was as if she couldnât go to heaven, but there was no way to get into hell either!
The servant put down the medicine and left, leaving Isabella alone in the room. She didnât bother to tidy
up the now chaotic space and headed straight to Christina to report.
âShe wants to call Master Cedric,â
âI see!â Christina nodded with a smile.
She wanted to call Cedric!?
She was deluding herself!
Since the first day Isabella came here, Christina had confiscated her phone. Now, if she wanted to
contact anyone, she had to get Christinaâs permission.
âTake good care of her, understood?â
âYes, maâam!â The servant nodded.
Taking good care of her was a must. Christina wouldnât mistreat Isabella openly; after all, Rebecca was
watching.
However, there was much more that Christina wouldnât allow under her watch.
Moreover, not allowing her to contact Cedric was Rebeccaâs decision. And if Isabella were to complain
to Rebecca, it would be pointless.
becca always believed Christinaâs side of the story!
servant left, Christina glanced at her newly done nails in a great mood
Just then, her phone rang.
It was a call from that person.
She answered, âHello.â
âYour mother went to Sylvan Gems today to meet Natalie.â
âWhat?â
Christina was shocked. Her face changed when she heard this news, and her previously good mood
soured.
âIt seems like she couldnât get anything from the Lamberts, so she wants to focus on Natalie. After all,
Stephen is Natalieâs uncle. So, the Johnson family wonât lose out!â
âHeh, is that so? Christina sneered.
So, Natalie was now an available option.
She thought that Rebecca was prideful enough that she wouldnât go looking for Natalie. She assumed
Rebecca would look for another young lady from one of the wealthy families.
Now, it seemed that Rebeccaâs pride wasnât as strong as Christina thought.
And as for her original lack of urgency, now she probablyâ¦!
She narrowed her beautiful eyes and said, âI got it.â
After that, she hung up the phone. Her clear, bright eyes were now covered in a sinister glint.
After Rebecca left, Natalie returned to her office. She scrolled through her phone with long, slender
fingers.
Zane came in. âMs. Walker!â
Do I have anything on for tomorrow?â
Zane checked the schedule. âMr. Lynch from the state of Emerald is coming tomorrow. Would you like
to meet him?:
Natalie shook her head. âYou handle it. If thereâs nothing else important, I have some personal matters
to attend to tomorrow.
Alright!
After Zane left, Natalie reached into the drawer and took out the exhibition ticket her uncle had given
her
before.
As Stephen had predicted, now that their relationship was exposedâ¦!
Her world was on the verge of collapse.
Rebeccaâs appearance today also made her realize what she was facing now, and it seemed that there
would be more to come.
Tapping on her phone, she called Irwin, who answered promptly in a gentle voice.
This was the first time Natalie had called him outside of work matters.
âDo you have some time tomorrow?â
âHmm? What for?â
âThereâs an art exhibition. I want you to accompany me.â
âSure.â
âHow about we leave together from Elegance Bay at ten tomorrow morning?â
She probably wouldnât come into the company tomorrow.
âWait a moment.â
The man on the other end didnât immediately agree. Natalie heard Irwin discussing the time with his
secretary.
Soon, he said, âI have a morning meeting. Send me the location of the art exhibition, and Iâll meet you
there directly.â
âOkay.
After she hung up, Natalie looked at the address on the exhibition ticket and sent a photo of it to Irwin.
The man must be busy, as he didnât reply this time.
After a meeting in the afternoon, Natalie finished organizing her work. With nothing much else to do,
she Called Blanca.
âHey. Want to have dinner together?â
âSure, Iâm done here. Iâll come to you right away.â
âNo need. Iâll pick you up!â Natalie said.
âNice. 17l be waiting!â
With that, she hung up. Natalie stood up, put on her coat, grabbed her bag, and headed out.
As she walked to the lobby, someone entered from the front door.
It was Christina.
Natalieâs eyes dimmed when she saw her. The receptionist approached, but Christina went straight to
Natalie.
âMissâ¦
The receptionist felt a bit annoyed as Christina strutted around as if she owned the place.
Natalie waved her hand dismissively. The receptionist breathed a sigh of relief and stepped back.
Christina surveyed the surroundings. This was the first time Christina met Natalie with a purpose since
Natalie divorced Cedric.
âNot bad. I heard about it before, but seeing it now, itâs still a bit surprising!â
The mocking tone concealed her envy, especially when she noticed the handmade custom outfit on
Natalie.
Back when Natalie was with Cedric, she used to wear limited edition items that were enough to make
Christina jealous.
Now that Natalie had left the Johnson family, she seemed to be doing better than expected instead of
the anticipated downfall!
âWhy are you here?â Natalie asked in an icy tone as she raised her wrist to check the time. Christinaâs
emotions surged when she saw the style and brand of the watch on Natalieâs wrist.
