Ashley was facing away from the door. She heard footsteps approaching and prepared to meet the founder in the best possible condition. After all, it was her favorite jewelry brand, and she was curious about the founder’s identity.

As Gina approached Ashley, Michael spoke up. “Miss Jackson, this is the founder of Quaria, Miss Gina Miller.

Ashley was about to introduce herself when she heard Gina’s name, which felt like a bolt from the blue. She widened her eyes in disbelief and turned abruptly. “Y-You’re the founder of Quaria? How is that possible? I don’t believe it! How old are you? Quaria has been established for six years already. Are you both trying to deceive me?”

Gina said calmly. “Quaria was founded by me when I was fifteen. Is there a problem with that?”

Ashley was stunned and couldn’t find words to respond for a moment. Finally, she said, “I don’t believe it!” Ashley couldn’t accept this and continued believing that Michael and Gina were playing a trick on her.

Gina said calmly, “If you don’t believe it, then so be it.”

Ashley felt like a weight was pressing down on her chest. “You need to provide some convincing evidence! Otherwise, how can I believe that you’re the founder of Quaria?”

Gina chuckled. “I don’t need you to believe. Whether you believe it or not, I am the founder of Quaria, and that’s enough.”

Ashley took deep breaths, one after another, to calm the anger in her heart.

Michael added casually, “By the way, Miss Miller is not only the founder but also our chief designer at Quaria”

Ashley felt like pinching herself at that moment. She felt like blacking out because she adored every piece of jewelry designed by the chief designer. It took Ashley quite a while to recover from the shock.

“Can I ask you a question then?” Ashley asked.

“You may, Gina replied.

“As the founder and exclusive designer of Quaria, you must have been involved in designing the upcoming new products. So, can you tell me when Quaria’s new products will be released

Gina blurted out, “Next Tuesday. Then she asked in return, “Miss Jackson, I’ve answered your question. Now, I’d like to ask you: are you here to see me fire myself?”

Ashley’s face darkened, appearing momentarily defeated. “Alright. I admit it. You’re quite capable, and I can’t do anything about it.”

Gina said calmly, “But I’m also curious why you are targeting me I don’t think there’s any grudge between us.”

Ashley became angry. “You’re toying with Gabriel. That’s a grudge right there. Gabriel is not getting any younger, and he’s the only son of my uncle. He’s still unmarried. You know how much my uncle wishes to see Gabriel marry and have children. Yet, you intentionally string him along. What are your intentions? If you like Gabriel, accept his proposal, become his wife, and have children with him. If you don’t like him, then stop delaying him!”

Gina replied calmly, “But he’s only 26 years old, right?”

“Is 26 years old still considered young? People in the same circle are already onto their second child,” Ashley growled.

Gina seemed puzzled. “Miss Jackson, you seem insistent on Gabriel completing life’s major milestones, like getting married

and having children. So, have you already completed your major life milestones?”

“Of course. However, I’ve been divorced. But now, I’m also looking for a new partner. I believe having a companion by your side is important in life, Ashley said confidently.

Gina continued to ask, “Do you have children then?”

“My ex-husband had some issues, so we didn’t have any children Ashley said without hesitation.

Both Gina and Michael were speechless. Ashley did not need to be so explicit with them.

“Alright, consider today as if I never came,” Ashley said, picking up her bag.

The more Ashley thought about it, the angrier and more speechless she felt. Ashley didn’t know how to face Quaria Jewelry in the future. Should she stop buying Quaria’s jewelry altogether? But she genuinely loved Quaria’s designs. Ashley was torn. After much consideration, she decided not to buy any designs by Gina. She would separate herself from the jewelry she designed and consider other designs from Quaria unrelated to Cina.

At the appointed time, Gabriel arrived to pick up Gina after work. After dinner together, they returned to the Blossom Grand Hotel. As they entered the lobby, they noticed Ashley sitting on the sofa.

The moment their eyes met, Ashley sighed. Here they were again. She still hadn’t recovered from the embarrassment of seeing Gina as the founder of Quaria earlier. She approached Gabriel and said, “I want to go home. Please take me back to Norwood

Gabriel felt like Ashley was intentionally being difficult. “Tll have David take you,” he said.

“You’ve been with her for so many days and still can’t go back?” Ashley pointed at Gina. “Isn’t there a lot of meetings waiting for you to attend at the Jackson Group? What’s the problem with you accompanying me back? Is there an issue?”

Max’s lazy voice came from somewhere. He had just returned from outside and overheard Gabriel and the others talking.

At the sound, Ashley turned to look and caught sight of Max. At that moment, a flash of admiration glimmered in her eyes.

Max noticed Ashley’s direct gaze and glanced at her before diverting his eyes away.

“You have no business here,” Gabriel said, feeling annoyed at the sight of Max. He didn’t want him anywhere near Gina. He thought, He thinks he can take advantage while I’m away in Norwood? Dream on.”

Before Max could respond, Ashley suddenly reproached Gabriel “Gabriel, can’t you speak properly? Is this gentleman saying something wrong?”

Gabriel was puzzled.

“If the Jackson Group has matters to attend to, you should go back,” Gina said. “You’ve been with me for several days already.. I don’t want to keep monopolizing your time, and the Jackson Group needs you, too.”

Gabriel frowned but said nothing. Ashley seized the opportunity, “Alright, tonight, you’re returning to Norwood with me.”

Cabriel looked at Gina with a conflicted expression. He didn’t want to be apart from Gina, nor did he want to neglect his work. Moreover, he didn’t want Ashley’s persistence to disrupt Gina’s peace indirectly.
