Chapter 31
When She Stops Playing Nice
Chapter 31
Jack breathed in deeply. âAlright. I hope you can do it.â
Gina hung up and checked Twitterâs trending searches. She noticed a new one. Miller Jewels had released a âdisclaimerâ on their Twitter account, stating the Miller family had severed ties with Gina. It also condemned bullying and took the victimâs side.
Netizens now rallied in support of Miller Jewels under their post.
One remarked, âAt least the Miller family knew right from wrong,â
Another pointed out, âEven her family abandoned her? She must be good then. Good riddance! Iâll buy from Miller Jewels from now on.â
The comments went on.
Gina smiled coldly. The Miller family had spent a lot of money to promote Miller Jewels under the post and to blow it up so they could capitalize on the hype. Gina was again surprised by their shamelessness.
Gina turned off her phone and entered the hospital. When she appeared at the ward doorway, a middle-aged woman approached her aggressively. âYouâre Gina? Youâre the bully? How can you be so shameless?â
Keira Allen tried to hit Gina but Jack stopped her. Jack persuaded, âMrs. Allen, please calm down.â
Gina couldnât be hurt
Keira realized that too. Jack had hinted at it earlier. He didnât decide to expel Lily. Gina had someone powerful backing her up. But how could Keira calm down? She pointed at Gina and said, âIf my daughter dies, I wonât let you off. Never!â
Gina didnât bat an eyelid. âMrs. Allen, I didnât bully Lily. Your daughter was the bully.â
Keiraâs eyes went wide. âWhat nonsense is that?â
âLetâs hash it all out in person.â With that, C a entered the ward.
Afraid Ginaâs appearance would upset Lily, Keira tried to stop Gina but was too late.
Lilyâs right leg was in a cast. She was sitting on the bed. Seeing Gina, Lily was surprised and began to act. âGina? What do you want? Iâm sorry. Donât hit me anymore. Youâve ruined my life. Canât you let me off?â
Keira hugged Lily, her heart aching. âDonât be scared. Iâm here. Iâll protect you.â Keira glared at Gina.
Though surprised, Gina wasnât angry by Keiraâs attitude. Lily had a good mother. Gina said calmly, âLetâs hash it out here, Lily
Lily felt ominous. âWhat are you gonna do?â
Gina took out her phone and began playing recordings.
In one of them, Lily said, âThat b i t c h Giria didnât return tonight. Sheâs probably selling herself again.â
In another snippet, Lilyâs tone was smug. âI just used Ginaâs toothbrush to clean the toilet.

In another, Lily spoke, âIs this Ginaâs eye drops? Let me add something to it.â
Another roommate couldnât bear it and interjected, âLily, what are you doing? If you put glue in there, sheâll go blind.â
Lily didnât care. âSo what? Her eyes make my stomach curl. Sheâs such a vixen.
The recording continued, stating all of Lilyâs crimes, Lilyâs face turned white.
Keira frore. She recognized Lilyâs voice. How could her usually obedient and sensible daughter be so vicious?
âI also have videos Gina opened the camera she placed on the bedside and played a video. In it, Lily stomped on Ginaâs bed and muttered. âWhere should I hide the needle? Hopefully, the bit c h would bleed. The camera even captured Lilyâs hideous face
It was undeniable. The real bully was her daughter. Keira almost fainted from shock.
Lily panicked. You had cameras in the dorm?â
Gina snickered. âYou were out to get me from the first day. Of course, I gotta

collect evidence of your crimes.â Gina wouldnât
âSpreading rumors, defamation, inciting online attacks, deliberately harm. That should be enough to put you in jail for three to five years, Gina stated coldly. âYou also tried to throw a brick at me. Mr. Baker saw it too. He can testify.â
Keira trembled, turning to Jack. âMr. Baker, is that true?â
Jack nodded
Keira looked at Lily. âWhy, Lily?â
Lily bowed her head silently, her eyes red. She wasnât repentant. However, she didnât expect Gina to have cameras in the dorm
Keira slapped Lily. When Lilyâs face swelled up, her heart ached. Keira spoke sternly, âApologize.â
Lily was unmoved.
Keira was anxious. âSpeak up.â
C i n a didnât need Lilyâs insincere apology. âMy lawyer will contact you.â
Keira grabbed Gina before she left. âPlease donât go. Iâm sorry. Itâs my fault. I didnât bring her up properly. Please donât suc her. If she goes to jail, her life will be ruined forever. Sheâs still young. How about I apologize? Iâll even get on my knees.â
Lily finally spoke, âMom, donât kneel to her. She glared at Gina.
Yeira roared at Lily, âShut up!â
