Chapter 32
When She Stops Playing Nice
Chapter 32
Keira got down on her knees. Gina frowned, trying to get her to stand but Keira stubbornly refused.
âMum!â Lily felt humiliated watching her mother kneel before Gina.
Keira begged, âPlease, Gina. Give her another chance to turn over a new leaf.â
Ginaâs expression didnât change. âIf I wasnât prepared, I might be blind and c r i p p l e d now. Besides, does she look remorseful? Mrs. Allen, this isnât your fault. You donât need to apologize.â
Keira cried. âI do. I didnât teach her properly. Sue me instead, Miss Miller. Iâll go to jail for her.â
Gina didnât soften but also didnât want to drag this on. She didnât want Keira to continue begging her. âFine. Iâll give her a chance. If she says who told her to do all that, I will consider not pressing charges.â
If Lily exposed Oliviaâs true personality before everyone and let them see Oliviaâs true colors, Lily could redeem herself a
little.
Keira nodded. âYes. Lily is usually good. Someone must have manipulated her. Keira got up and grabbed Lilyâs arm. Talk Who told you to do that?â
Lily bowed her head and pursed her lips. She couldnât betray Olivia
âTalkâ Keira shook Lily anxiously.
Lily bit her lip before bursting out, âNo one made me. I hated you so I bullied you.â
Keira collapsed to the ground dejectedly.
Gina had expected this. She sneered. What did Olivia give Lily to make her so devoted? Lily was willing to go to jail than expose Olivia.
Gina ignored Lily and turned to Keira. âI gave her a chance.â But Lily didnât cherish it.
As Gina left, Keira fainted from grief. Lily crawled out of the bed and shouted, âMom?â
Ginaâs lawyer soon contacted Lily and Keira. Keira also hired a lawyer for Lily. After understanding what happened, the lawyer deemed the chances of winning slim and advised Lily to take measures to reduce the sentence.
Lily recorded an apology video and uploaded it online. She claimed her expulsion was because she tried to hurt Gina and that C i n a had no powerful backing. She said her action was witnessed by the school dean who couldnât tolerate such misconduct Lily cried in the video but she wasnât genuinely repentant. She was trying to make a good impression before the lawsuit.
Gina watched the video at home expressionlessly. The Trowell University posted her evidence of Lilyâs actions on Twitter, turning the situation around.
Those who had incited online attacks against C a and threatened to take justice into their own hands were detained by the police.
One netizen commented, âWho would expect the bully to be so good at acting? She even played the victim. How scary Just because you look weak doesnât mean youâre right.ââ

Now, many questioned Miller Jewelsâs attention-seeking and exploiting behavior, doubting the validity of the severance agreement, accusing them of lying for profit and cared nothing for family.
Ella had intended to make a good impression but it had backfired.
âSorry, Mom. I shouldnât have told you that.â Olivia pretended to be remorseful. However, she was cursing silently. Why wasnât Lily more cautious? That b i c h Gina was so scheming.

Was for Gina? âMom, Gina took precautions against Lily. She wouldnât be injured. If you care, why not call her?â
Ella then remembered they had severed ties with Gina. Frustrated, Ella remarked, âSheâs still alive and kicking. Sheâs probably fine.â Gina could still hurt Liam after having a lot of blood drawn.
Oliviaâs eyes gleamed viciously. Why didnât Gina remain in her coma longer? She would have more of her blood drained. and Gina would die. Then Olivia would be the only daughter of the Miller family.
