Chapter 33
When She Stops Playing Nice
Chapter 33
An idea came to Olivia and she began acting again. âMom, I think Gina is bullied because sheâs odd. Sometimes, even I think so. Why would she be targeted otherwise?â
Realization dawned on Ella. It took two to tango, after all. Gina must have done something to provoke Lily. âThatâs true.â Ella switched topics. âNever mind. Darling, howâs your design draft coming along?â
Olivia was irritated at the mention of this. She was clueless. She even resented Elsen for demanding something that surpassed the Wish collection. She wanted to outshine Gina but would never admit Ginaâs design was good. The Wish collection sold well because it was credited to her.
Olivia didnât want to disappoint Ella, so she exaggerated. âMom, Iâve been staying up late working on it. Iâll try to finish it
soon.
Ellaâs heart ached. âDonât tire yourself out. Your health is important too.â
âI know, Mom. Olivia nodded in false docility.
In the afternoon, Olivia returned to school for her classes in a Mercedes. Once she was in the classroom, she took out at paper and started pondering. However, she simply couldnât do it. If she failed, her brother and mother might bring Gina back. After all, the cooperation with Dale Group affected the lifeline of Miller Jewels.
Olivia was immersed in her worries.
âWhereâs Olivia Miller?â Jasmine appeared at Jewelry Design Class 3, grabbed a girl, and demanded.
The girl was intimidated and pointed to Olivia who was in her seat. âThatâs herâ¦
Jasmine sneered and walked over. âOlivia!â
Olivia had her back to Jasmine. She turned to see who was making the fuss and interrupted her train of thought.
However, Jasmine grabbed Oliviaâs hair before she turned and yanked. âWerenât you arrogant at the Quaria store? Letâs see how arrogant you are now.â
Hurt and confused, Olivia couldnât lift her head. âWhat are you talking about?â
A crowd gathered around them. Jasmine looked at them and yelled, âWhat are you looking at?â
Then, she dragged Olivia by her hair into the womenâs restroom. Jasmine pushed Olivia into a cubicle, Oliviaâs head hit the partition. Her ears rang
âDo you think you can do whatever you want just because youâre engaged to Ethan? My family can crush your family. Itâs as easy as stepping on an ant.â Jasmine couldnât swallow the humiliation at Quarip. Besides, she intended to marry Gabriel, Ethanâs uncle
Jasmine had seen online that Gabriel and a âmysterious woman had gone to the Grand Restaurant but couldnât find out who that was. She couldnât vent her anger. Thus, she decided to find Olivia.
Olivia was still stunned. Her hair was messed up, covering her face. âWhat are you going on about?â
What? Afraid now?â Jasmine kicked her. Oliviaâs shin was bruised.

Olivia exclaimed in pain.
Jasmine felt better. âYou b i t c h. Not so arrogant now, are you?â
Olivia couldnât take it anymore. She tossed her hair aside and looked at Jasmine. âStop. Hold on.â
Jasmine didnât want to look at Oliviaâs beautiful face at first but realized Olivia didnât look like the person she saw at Qauria. Did she get the wrong person?
âYouâre not Olivia Miller?â Jasmine was puzzled.
Olivia was bewildered. âI am.â
Jasmine asked, âYouâre Ethanâs fiancée?â
Olivia replied, âYes.â Then she remembered Jasmine mentioning Quaria. âI havenât been to Quaria recently. Did you get the wrong person?â
Jasmine felt guilty.
Olivia understood. Jasmine, with her branded clothes and Quaria jewelry, seemed wealthy. Despite being mistakenly assaulted, Olivia was wary and dared not get angry. âMiss Bush, did someone impersonate me? Who was it? Can you tell me?â Olivia ground her teeth. Sheâd kill the culprit.
Jasmine didnât feel bad at all. âHow would I know? All I know was that her last name was Miller. She recalled, âSheâs also dressed shabbily like sheâs from the country. She wore casual clothes and had a mole on her ear.â
The description sounded familiar. Olivia remembered Gina had such a mole. âWas the mole on her earlobe?â
Think so. Jasmine wasnât sure.
Olivia was certain. Besides Gina, who would impersonate her and cause trouble for her? Olivia hadnât offended anyone else. How could the b t c h do this? Oliviaâs nails dug into her palms. Fortunately, she had clarified it quickly or sheâd continued to have her a s s kicked. Olivia forced a smile. âMiss Bush, it must be Gina Miller. Sheâs the one youâre looking for. She pretended to be me.â
Although that wasnât true, Jasmine didnât bother explaining. Instead, she asked, âWhy are you so sure? Are you related?â
Olivia explained hastily, âShe is my sister, but not anymore. What she did has nothing to do with us.â
