Chapter 407
When She Stops Playing Nice
Chapter 407
Colin immediately released Olivia, his face sullen as he stared at Ella.
Olivia exclaimed sharply, âMom, what are you doing?â
Olivia thought, âThis foolish old woman actually dared to strike Colin. Is she asking for death? Even if she doesnât care about her life, she shouldnât
involve me.â
Colin, without hesitation, stepped forward and kicked Ella squarely in the chest. âAre you looking to die?â
Olivia dared not move, standing frozen in place, barely breathing
Ella, already physically weak, fainted instantly after being kicked.
Though still angry, Colin had more important matters to attend to. He didnât waste any more time dealing with them there.
On the other side, Gina and Gabriel were on their way to Oriata City.
Gina was feeling a bit drowsy, but the sudden brakes dispelled her sleepiness. She looked up and saw two cars coming from another fork in the road, clearly intending to block their path, Gina frowned, and Gabriel, too, looked grim as he gazed at the roadblock ahead.
Turning to Gina, Gabriel said, âGina, wait here. Iâll get out and see whatâs going on.â
Gina replied, âOkay,â
After Gabriel got out of the car, the door on the opposite side also opened, and Colin stepped out of the car.
When he saw Colin, Gabrielâs expression darkened, and he said coldly. âMake way.â
Colin smirked, âMr. Jackson, donât be so angry. I didnât mean to block the road. I just wanted Miss Miller to have a good time.â
Gabriel didnât understand Colinâs meaning, but the next second, Colin gestured to the people in the other car, and then Olivia, Ella, and Noah, tied up, were dragged out.
Gabriel, seeing the Miller family, vaguely understood Colinâs intentions.
At that moment, Gina also got out of the car.
The Miller family looked at Gina with a mix of fear, hatred, and disgust.
Noah was the first to lose his temper, cursing loudly at Gina, âGina, what do you want? Do you want us all dead before youâre satisfied? We might have wronged you before, but we never intended to harm you! You killed your brother! Isnât that enough? You s l u t, you should have been aborted when your mom was pregnant with you.â
Gina couldnât help feeling amused. Who was the one planning to draw 1,200 cc of blood from her to save Olivia who pretended to be suffering from excessive blood loss?
And James wanted to disable her. Such incidents were not uncommon. Although Gina wasnât sure what Colin was up to, she didnât sympathize with the Miller family.
Olivia complained, âGina, I owe you money. Didnât Ethan pay you back for me? What else do you want from me? Mr. Barnes said we were bein

repent and be punished in front of you.â
Gina replied indifferently, âI didnât ask him to do that.â
Colin added, âMiss Miller indeed didnât ask me to do this, but I think torturing you might make Miss Miller feel better, right? If Miss Miller feels better, she
might be able to save my s
sister?â
As Colin spoke, he gritted his teeth. If Gina still didnât agree to treat his sister, then he wouldâ¦
What else could he do?
It seemed he couldnât do anything else. Colin fell helpless. After all, the only person who could restore his sisterâs health was Gina.
âItâs true that Miss Miller didnât ask me to do this, but I want to. After all, youâve hurt Miss Miller deeply, both physically and emotionally,â Colin said righteously, like a judge.
He turned to Gina and asked, âHow do you want me to deal with them?â
Gina didnât respond to Colinâs words, and he became impatient, instructing his subordinates nearby, saying, âI think Miss Miller would probably like to see this family suffer as much as possible. Letâs get started.â
The two henchmen, receiving the order, began by beating Noah.
Ella struggled and shouted, âDonât hit my son! Stop, if you want to hit someone, hit me!â
She didnât want to witness Noah being beaten to death in front of her.
But Colin didnât plan to kill them. He just wanted them to suffer a bit to make Gina happy.
Colin snoered, âDonât worry, youâll get your turn too.â
Seeing Ella desperately trying to protect her son, C
Then the two henchmen temporarily stopped beating Noah, who was bruised and battered, and turned to Ella.
Olivia watched in fear as Colinâs two henchmen beat the others mercilessly Realizing the gravity of the situation, she began to beg Gina. âGina, Iâm sorry.
I was wrong, Iâll do anything for you, just please ask them to stop hitting me. Please, ask Mr. Barnes to make them stop!â
Despite being tightly bound, Olivia exerted all her strength to bow to Gina. But seeing that Gina remained unmoved, Olivia decided to feign unconsciousness.
Colin laughed when he saw Oliviaâs performance and asked, âAre you that scared? Fainted from fear?â
But even if Olivia âfaintedâ, Colin didnât spare her from his menâs beating. She was in pain, but she still had to pretend to be unconscious.
Throughout the ordeal, Gina remained indifferent to their beating.
Whether the Miller family lived well or not, she didnât care. Watching them being beaten, she felt neither pity nor happiness.
But Colin was having fun. He looked at Olivia, who lay âunconsciousâ on the ground, and said, âAre you so afraid of getting beaten? So, did you faint or
Ella was covered in injuries, lying on the ground, begging for mercy for Olivia. âStop hitting her, if you keep hitting her, she will die. Mr. Barnes, please, have mercy! Olivia donated a kidney to me. She canât stand it. Hit me instead!â
Colin didnât pay attention to Ella. He just wanted to beat them until Gina was satisfied. He didnât know that even if he beat the three of them to death today, Gina wouldnât be âsatisfied.â

She simply didnât care about them.
However, Ellaâs words caught Ginaâs attention. She never believed that Olivia could donate a kidney to Ella.

And Ellaâs kidneys couldnât possibly have problems. So, what was Oliviaâs purpose in staging this kidney donation? When it came to o r g a s, Gina had a. bad feeling. Without saying a word, she suddenly stepped forward, and the two henchmen, thinking that Gina was going to give Olivia a slap herself, obligingly backed away.
