Chapter 431
When She Stops Playing Nice
Chapter 431
In reality, Harry hadnât been very suspicious of Ginaâs identity. However, wouldnât Gabriel have known about it if Gina had been Dr. Genevieve?
it was all over!â His plans would all be disrupted. He knew he had to get
Harry pondered, âCould it have been that Gina had already treated Gabriel? If so, it w
rid of Gina, but the fact remained that she was tough to deal with
Ashley still couldnât accept it-how could Gina be Dr. Genevieve? Harry took a deep breath and decided to calm down for now. After all, Ashleyâs health was the priority. He comforted himself with the thought that perhaps not killing Gina earlier had been a good thing. If Gina had died, what would have happened to Ashley? But then, Harry reconsidered: if Gina had died earlier, maybe none of this would be happening now.
Thinking it over, Harry felt an intense headache. With a cold expression, he said to Gina, âWe rushed back from Mosnioca without stopping once. Who said we didnât want a consultation? Since you are Dr. Genevieve, then go ahead.â
Gina responded calmly, âBefore the consultation, you must apologize to Cathy first.â
Harry was stunned. Although he had a bad feeling about it, the condition Gina sot was too much. âYou want us to apologize to the person who caused Ashleyâs miscarriage? Gina Miller, are you insane?â
Ashley snarled. âI knew it! You have a deep connection with Cathy Fowler. You instructed her to cause my miscarriage, and now you want me to apologize to her? Gina Miller, if you want to drive me to death, say it!â
âYouâre going too far!â Harry was on the verge of exploding. He suspected that Gina deliberately waited until they were there to make this demand. After all, if Gina had mentioned it earlier, wouldnât it have exposed her identity?
*Then you can leave, but the consultation fee wonât be refunded,â Gina said casually.
Harry couldnât bear it anymore. With nothing else to throw, he hurled his phone at Gina, who effortlessly dodged it
âIt seems like you donât want the consultation anymore. Get out,â Gina said, not bothering to waste any more words with them. Then she pressed the internal door switch to let them out.
Fuming with humiliation, Harry wanted to drag Gina over and forcefully demand that she examine Ashley. But just as the door opened, Gabriel stood there. Thinking Harry was about to lay hands on Gina, he swiftly stepped forward and pushed Harry away. Gabrielâs force caught Harry off guard, almost causing him to fall. Ashley, weakened, managed to support Harry before he fell.
Ashley looked at Gabriel and said, âGabriel, what are you doing? My dad is getting older, he canât handle being shoved like that. What would we do it he had gotten seriously hurt from falling?â Ashley accused.
âThen I will take care of his medical expenses,â Gabriel said coldly, positioning himself protectively in front of Gina.
Harry and Ashley were infuriated by Gabrielâs words. It was an outrageous betrayal. Harry felt that if he continued to be angry, he might even have a brain hemorrhage. âWhatâs the matter with you? Why did you push me?â he asked. âI just wanted Gina to examine my daughter. Why are you so nervous? Am I some monster who would devour her?â
âAsk Gina to examine your daughter. But with your hands instead of your mouth?â Gabriel asked coldly. How could he not see through Harryâs ill Intentions?
In a fit of anger, Ashley felt a sharp pain in her stomach, causing her to double over and unable to speak. Seeing this, Harry felt immense concern for Ashley and immediately compromised. âI apologize Iâll apologize to Cathy Fowler. Gina Miller, please, quickly examine her!â
Gina nodded. âAlright, apologize first. We wonât waste any time.â
Gina took out her phone and dialed Cathyâs nuphber, initiating a video call. Cathy looked surprised when she received the call from Gins. âMiss Miller, whatâs going on?â she asked.
Gina said, âSomeone wants to apologize to you.â With that, she turned the phone towards Harry and Ashley. Even though Cathy could only see them through the screen, she feared them. Gina had anticipated this concern, so she didnât demand they apologize in person.

While eagerly supporting Ashley, Harry reluctantly apologizes to Cathy, saying, âIâm sorry, Miss Fowler, I misunderstood you before and retaliated against you. I am truly sorry.â
Despite the pain in her abdomen, Ashley said, âCathy Fowler, I was wrong before. Iâm sorry. Can you forgive us?â
It was not easy to receive an apology. Cathy, wanting to avoid causing trouble for Gina, said, âYes, we can let bygones be bygones.â
Relieved by Cathyâs response, Ashley breathed a sigh of relief. She was in so much pain she could barely bear it. âGina Miller, weâve apologized. Could your please examine me? Iâm begging you. Iâm hurting.â Ashley said, on the verge of tears.
Gina wasted no time and ended the video call, gesturing to Ashley.
âSit down,â she said.
Harry hurriedly helped Ashley sit down, feeling her grip tighten on his arm. âDad, my stomach hurts
trembling.
Itâs so painful, Dadâ¦â Ashley said, her voice
Ashley knew that calling for her dad wouldnât change anything, but she just wanted some emotional comfort. Seeing Ashley in pain, Harryâs hatred and resentment towards Gina grew even more vital. He thought, âThat d a m n e d Gina Miller had been playing us all along, causing Ashley to suffer like this from all the stress and exhaustion!â
Gina prepared to administer an injection to Ashley as a therapy. Ashley felt a wave of fear upon seeing the inch-long injection needle. Her lips pale, she said, âGina, please donât take revenge on me. I really canât bear the pain anymore. If you use the needle on me again, I wonât be able to handle it!â
âShut up,â Gina said coldly, her slightly impatient reprimand leaving Ashley feeling stifled. After administering two jabs on Ashleyâs arm, Ashley could sense that Gina wasnât seeking revenge. It seemed Ginaâs technique was effective, or perhaps the pain in her stomach had drawn away all her attention. During the therapy, she didnât feel any pain. In fact, after a minute, Ashley no longer felt any pain in her stomach. Finally, she could breathe a sigh of
relict.
Harry was very nervous. âAshley, how do you feel now?â he asked.
Ashleyâs complexion improved significantly. âDad, Iâm fine now. The pain is gone,â she said.
âThatâs good, thatâs good,â Harry breathed a sigh of relief. He couldnât help but adigit that Gina was indeed capable. Feeling Ginaâs medical expertise, Ashley was eager to ask her some questions.
