“This is the tonic sent by Miss Bush. It has been taken for testing and found no toxic ingredients inside. But after Neil drank it, he had a heart attack, Isaac said puzzledly.

“Let me see.”

Gina took the thermos from Isaac’s hand. Her sense of smell was sharp. She sniffed the tonic and detected a scent of alcohol.

“There’s alcohol in it. Neil can’t drink alcohol,” Gina said with a serious expression.

And there was quite a lot of alcohol in it.

Isaac was shocked and said. “The tonic was personally sent by Miss Bush, claiming she made it herself. Neil didn’t want to waste Miss Bush’s goodwill, so he drank quite a bit.”

Gina turned to see a man in a suit, with graying hair. He looked a bit like Neil, standing with his hands behind his back. There was disdain in his eyes as he met Gina’s gaze. He was accompanied by a group of people.

The old man met Gina’s gaze with undisguised contempt.

Gabriel’s face cooled down, and he greeted the man indifferently. “Harry.”

Harry nodded slightly.

“Gabriel, as soon as I heard about my brother’s situation, I rushed over and brought along Ibrahim Rosario, an authoritative expert in international cardiology.”

Harry gestured to Ibrahim behind him. Ibrahim, with his blond hair and deep eyes, had been in the field of cardiology for over thirty years, and the years had left their marks on his face. He didn’t trust Harry’s people, just as he didn’t trust Harry.

Harry’s face immediately darkened. “Gabriel, are you joking with me? Are you really going to let a young woman handle it? I’m afraid she can’t even hold a scalpel steady. If anything happens to Neil, you will have to bear the stigma of being unfilial.”

“I don’t need to use a scalpel,” Gina retorted without backing down.

Harry snorted coldly. “Who do you think you are? You have no say here.”

Gabriel’s face darkened instantly. “Harry, be polite to Gina”

Harry sensed the coldness in Gabriel’s eyes, and the chill made him uncomfortable. He detested Gabriel’s eyes the most….

Harry snorted coldly, “Gabriel, even if you stood by her side, you shouldn’t joke about my brother’s life”

Gina’s expression remained cold. “Stop arguing”

She glanced at Harry and Ibrahim and said, “I don’t have time to waste with you.”

She took the sterile gown and mask from the nurse and prepared to enter the emergency room.

Harry’s face darkened, and he signaled to his bodyguards, who immediately stepped forward to block Gina’s path.

Gabriel’s coldness in his eyes intensified. “Harry, what does this mean?”

Harry’s expression hardened. “I won’t stand by and watch as you make a joke of my brother’s life.”

Ibrahim also put on a sterile gown, preparing to enter the emergency room. He scrutinized Gina seriously. He was amazed. by her beauty, but then he said in a condescending tone, “Young lady, it’s best not to be too confident. Can you bear the consequences if something goes wrong?”

Gina was getting impatient because of Harry’s antics, which had caused a delay in saving Neil.

Gina flexed her wrist, ready for a fight.

Ibrahim, feeling ignored by Gina, became annoyed. Wherever he went, he would be respected. He couldn’t tolerate being disregarded by a young woman.

“I’m talking to you, didn’t you hear?” Ibrahim said angrily.

Gina finally glanced at Ibrahim and said, “You should say that to yourselves.”

“You!” Ibrahim was angry. Gina was questioning his medical skills.

He couldn’t take it.

Gina checked the time. Twelve minutes had passed since the nurse came out to inform them of Neil’s worsening condition. She couldn’t delay any longer.

She glanced at the towering bodyguards blocking her way, then stepped forward and stomped on their feet. Caught off guard, the bodyguards let out a howl of pain and jumped up in agony.

Gina slipped past the bodyguards.

Her actions stunned Harry. Regaining his senses, he angrily ordered, “What are you waiting for? Stop her.”

“Who dares?” Gabriel’s tone remained frosty, but in his low voice, there was an unbearable pressure.

Harry’s bodyguards were intimidated and caught in a dilemma. Harry met Gabriel’s gaze with a determined look.

Gina had already entered the emergency room.

Harry clenched his fists secretly and thought. These juniors intentionally opposed me.’
