Chapter 50
When She Stops Playing Nice
Chapter 50
Gabriel lowered his eyelids.
Gina was the apple of his eye, and he couldnât tolerate others coveting her.
Moreover, Ethanâs original fiancée was Gina. Gabriel didnât want Clinton and A b b e to pay attention to Gina, to avoid unnecessary trouble.
Gina found Dylan
âNeil Jackson, the patient in the VIP ward of cardiology, should be equipped with the best quality of medicines and supplies but charged with regular rates. You handle it,â Gina said calmly.
Dylan nodded slightly. âAlright.â
He hesitated for a moment before asking. The Jackson family isnât short on money. You donât need to give them special treatment. And even if you do this, they may not appreciate it.â
Considering what happened with Phillip, Dylan was worried about C i na .
Dylan couldnât bear to see Ginaâs kindness being taken for granted again.
But the Miller family were some of the most shameless people he had ever encountered.
âItâs fine if they donât know,â Gina felt that explicitly informing them would change the nature of her doing this. Gina wanted to help Neil not for money. She just wanted to do it.
âAlright.â Dylan had no choice.
After giving instructions, Gina prepared to leave, and Dylan accompanied her for a while.
âGina.â Gabriel searched for Gina and finally found her. When he saw Dylan, there was a hint of coldness in his eyes.
Dylan also noticed Gabrielâs gaze and felt a strange hostility.
However, out of politeness, Dylan greeted Gabriel. âMr. Jackson.â
âYou know me?â Gabrielâs eyes narrowed dangerously.
âDid Gina introduce me to him? Gabriel thought.
Gabriel felt a bit displeased, and his tone became colder.
Dylan sensed the awkward atmosphere and explained, âMr. Neil stayed at Prover Hospital for a while before. I heard about you from my colleagues.â
Wherever Gabriel went, he was always a topic of conversation.
Gabriel didnât respond, but his expression seemed to soften slightly. His attention returned to Gina, and he even subtly positioned himself to separate Dylan from Gina.
Dylan noticed Gabrielâs body language and quietly moved aside.

âI thought you left earlier, Gabriel said.
âNo, if I were leaving. I would have told you in advance, Gina replied.
Gabriel understood and smiled faintly, âSo, do you want to come with me now?â
After speaking. Gabriel gave Dylan a meaningful look.
Dylan felt like Gabriel was asking him to leave and not to be a third wheel. Dylan swallowed nervously. He was under great pressure under Gabrielâs presence.
He awkwardly said to Gina, âBy the way, Miss Miller, Phillip and the others have been transferred to another hospital.â

Ginaâs reaction was calm. âI see.â
Then Iâll leave first.â Dylan turned and left.
After Dylan walked away, Gabriel couldnât help but ask, âDid you know him for a long time?â
âQuite a while,â Gina answered sincerely.
Gabriel suddenly felt a bit uneasy. âAre you friends? Did you talk for a long time? Do you have common interests because heâs a doctor?â
Gabriel began to wonder if it was still possible for him to study medicine now.
Gina was taken aback by Gabrielâs barrage of questions.
She answered succinctly, âHe used to be Phillipâs attending physician.
Gabriel finally let go of his unease. âAlright, I understand.
âDid your family come to visit Neil?â Gina remembered seeing someone heading towards Neilâs ward when she left.
âYes, my brother and his wife came.â
Then I wonât go over. Iâll visit Neil next time.â
i n a didnât want to deal with the other members of the Jackson family. She was exha st e d from socializing.
âOkay,â Gabriel answered merrily.
This suited Gabrielâs intentions. If Ethanâs parents found out how excellent G i n a was, they might try to take her away.
He wouldnât allow anyone to s a tc h her from him.
Gabriel had never felt so uneasy, but he would remain restless until C n a became his fiancée.
âIâll take you home,â Gabriel said.
Gina agreed.
âWait for me. Iâll go inform Dad,â Gabriel said.

âAlright, Iâll wait for you at the hospital entrance,â Gina replied.
At the hospital entrance, Ethan comforted Olivia for a while before entering the hospital.

Ella sat in a Mercedes, feeling a headache. They couldnât enter the hospital, so they had to give up. Now, she realized that she didnât even have Neilâs contact information. Ella couldnât even call to inquire about his condition.
âMom, donât be angry. Letâs go home. We can give these gifts to someone else later, Olivia suggested.
The Jackson family didnât appreciate them, but someone else surely would. Olivia was also furious.
Olivia thought, Clinton and A b b i were too much, but luckily, Ethan was on my side. Once I married into the Jackson family, I would turn the tables and teach the two old fools a lesson.
Thatâs what we can do now,â Ella said.
They couldnât just throw the gifts away. That would be a waste.
Ella was about to ask the driver to start the car when she glanced out the window and saw Gina coming out of the hospital. âHow did she get in?â Ella was baffled.
Olivia followed Ellaâs gaze and widened her eyes when she saw Gina.
Ella got out of the car and stopped Gina in her tracks, saying, âHold on.â
Gina gave Ella a cold look, as if she were looking at a stranger. Somehow, Ella felt uncomfortable under Ginaâs gaze.
âHow did you manage to enter Prover Hospital?â Ella questioned.
Gina also had something to remind Ella.
Ginaâs expression was cold as she replied, âI havenât received the share transfer contract yet. If I canât get it before the deadline, I will expose what Olivia has done.â
Ella was infuriated. She had just been embarrassed by the Jackson family, and now Gina threatened her. Ella held back her anger and asked again, âThe contract for the share transfer has been drafted. Iâll have the lawyer contact you. But now, answer my question. How did you get in? And what were you doing inside?â
âIt has nothing to do with you.â Ginaâs reply was indifferent.
âDid you take the 600 million dollars and intend to use it to integrate into high society? Donât dream of it. In high society, everyone operates as a family unit. Once you leave the Miller family, youâre nothingâ
