SEVENTY-SIX
HIS INNOCENT BRIDE
AUTHORâS POV:
She entered the room shutting the door with a loud thud as her hands were moving fast in order to find something specific that could ruin and save her life at the same time.
âWhere the f**k I put that?â She threw the blanket away in frustration as in few seconds the ruin became destructed by her frustration as she knew she would clean it again but right now she wasnât looking at her senses. As if she had to know what happened next? Whether they wanted her more or not? Her work was like that She had to remain alarmed all the time as there were so many eyes and ears around her that could wash away all the efforts, she had been doing for so many years. She was about to crouch down and look for the thing under the bed as she knew she left it here hurriedly knowing no one would come in the room as it was just used by her, when she heard the sound of footsteps so close to her. Her eyes became widened as her heart stopped beating as more steps entered the room which turned her into a sound. She was so scared at that time that she couldnât even turn around and look who it was.
âAre you searching for this?â The familiar voice echoed in the deadly silence of the room when the man threw a phone on the bed making her close her eyes shut so closed that she wanted to vanish from there. She was caught but she couldnât fail after coming so long. Fate was never by her side but it couldnât be this much cruel.
âI knew the traitor could be anyone. It could be among my men too but I didnât think of it as you. Suzi.â Farzanâs voice echoed in the room as Suzi turned around with a bitter smirk.
Imran was standing just behind he who threw the phone on the bed as then there was Farzan Shah followed by everyone including Dadi. Only Aysham wasnât there as she must havenât known what was going on. She was dwelled in her own pain at that time.
âPeople say you rule the mafia world and it find it a miracle that you did with that mind of yours because you couldnât find about me in all these years.â Suzi said spitting poison from her voice as she wasnât looking the soft Suzi anymore. Thatâs the unique point of traitors and hypocrites that when they peel off their masks, you could never find their faces similar. They had changed the level of existence in your eyes.
âI never say I am a God.â Farzan smirked as he deep down was scared of someone close to him being a traitor but it didnât turn out like that. He shed sweat and blood for people honesty and loyalty but still evil could capture anyone and they would forget what you have done for them.
âBut you act like one when you killed my husband.â Suzi said as everyone in the room shook their heads looking at the hate in her eyes for Farzan even though he did everything to save her on wish of her mother.
âHe was smuggling you with other girls.â Farzan tried to put some sense in her mind although he didnât care about her at all.
âWe were smuggling other girls. We had a future and you ruined everything.â Suzi spat.
âFuture? Selling girls could make you a future.â Fahad Shah shook his head in disappointment as Dadi looked at Farzan while asking. âHow did you people know it was her?â
âI knew there was someone in the mansion because my enemy knew things from the inside too so I had check on each and every person. I said to Aysham that I would smuggle her with my weapons tonight through the ship.â Saying that Farzan remained silent as no matter how much he tried to focus on other things at that time her trembling figure was coming in front of his eyes again and again. Seeing Farzan in a deep though Imran continued.
âAysham bhabi told you only because Areej maâam wasnât there and bhabi didnât have her phone because I had that. She only told you because only you went inside the room and after few hours there was a raid on our shop where werenât any weapons. We caught your men and then we trace the whole mansion. You shouldnât have left your phone with a restricted number on the bed when your other phone was placed on the side table.â Imran tsked his tongue at Suzi at the end as she clenched her fists looking at her normal phone on the side table while she used to send messages on the other phone.
âWhat you told Aysham that you would smuggle her? You hurt her?â Dadi said with anger in her eyes as she looked at Farzan.
âI had to do this or because I knew it was someone who was close to her because she is the main person in this mansion. She is my wife and obviously they all want to use her against me.â Farzan said he knew he crossed the limits but he had to do this drama if he wanted to end this long term again. Now this should end because he wanted to spend a life with his Aysham without any danger hanging around her.
âWe will deal with you on this later. Now Suzi who is all behind this. Who is your boss?â Dad glared at Farzan concerned about Aysham while he asked Suzi to end the game.
âYou also ruin his life just like mine.â Suzi gritted her teeth in hatred.
âI didnât ruin your life. You did that to yourself so the same case would be with him too.â Farzan said looking unaffected by her statement.
âIs he Ahmad Hashmi?â Zaroon asked as they all had a weird feeling from him.
âYou are close but he isnât the mastermind.â Suzi smirked as she looked like a psycho.
âWho is it?â Muzamil asked as he fisted his hands in his pant pockets.
âYou think I would tell that?â Suzi chuckled as Farzan and Imran shook their heads. They knew how to handle these types of lunatics.
âI was going lenient on you since you treated me with a healthy breakfast all these years but you donât deserve that.â Farzan motioned Imran as he dragged Suzi away from there.
âThis is just too much.â Dadi also exited the room with her hand on her heart as she was strong in cases of house chores but not the worldly affairs of the dark mafia world.
âYou have another wedding in just few minutes. The paparazzi is there and Areej would reach too shortly.â Zaroon informed as he shook his head.
âLet me talk to Aysham first.â
âYou should.â They all three glared at him as he shook his head at them.
FARZANâS POV:
I entered the room to find it empty. I knew I hurt her but she would understand me. She would and she could punish him like the way she would be pleased.
âButterfly.â I called for her but no response. A strange feeling erupted in my heart which was only beating for her recently. I searched the whole room and she wasnât there.
âF**k!â I exited the room as I searched my entire wing but she wasnât anywhere.
âFind her.â I alarmed the whole mansion as every servant went to find to her. Dadi had gone to sleep by that time as she was tired other than her everyone gathered as I entered the lounge.
âCouldnât you come up with a better plan?â Muzamil punched me in the face as I didnât do anything in return. I knew I deserved that.
âYou bastard.â Then it was the turn for Zaroon as he kicked me in the gut making me fall down.
âSir. Hereâs the security guard.â We all were interrupted by Imran who came with two bodyguards guarding the back gate.
âWhere the F**k is my wife?â I hissed as my lip had busted pouring out blood.
âSir we saw maâam exiting the mansion through the main gate.â One of the guards said with fear in his eyes as the other one was trembling.
âWhy didnât you stop her?â I wanted to scream at them. I wanted to fire the whole world but thinking about her innocent face and trembling figure my head was spinning and my heart was bleeding. I wanted this day to be the happiest for both of us but I ruined it.
âShe-sheâ¦is your-wifeâ¦so weâ¦â The other one spoke up as I ran my fingers frustratingly in my hairs.
âSearch for her. Imran surveillance cameras.â I announced as in few minutes everyone exited the mansion with their cars as we had only one person to find.
âSirâ¦I am sorryâ¦there was a storm. The cameras took some time to active again so we couldnât traceâ¦â
âF**k! F***k!â Before Imran could finish his sentence, I threw the phone on the backseat punching the steering wheel again and again when my phone started ringing. It was one of men waiting for me in the hall for my fake marriage.
I cut his call and dialed Muzammilâs number.
âDid you find her?â He asked me as my silence gave him the answer.
âGo to the hall and marry Areej. I canât do that.â I grumbled while looking at the streets for her. How could she go somewhere in her bridal dress in such cold weather? I messed up.
âWhatâ¦how canâ¦â
âYou think I donât know the way you look at her. Go marry her. You have enough shares from my business so that f**king father of her wouldnât bark much and about the media. My men would handle that. Areej must have already reached there. Itâs an order or otherwise you would lose fifty percent of my shares and I would make it reality for you.â With that I ended the call as I turned towards her aunt house.
âWHERE IS SHE?â I barged into the house as they startled, looking at me.
âWhoâ¦what are youâ¦â The old lady said but I didnât have time for that as I took out my gun.
âMy wife. Mrs. Aysham Farzan Shah. Where is she?â I searched the house while they were trembling like a leaf.
âW-we donât. We never saw her again once you took her.â The cousin stammered.
âAnd you are pleased by that.â I clenched my teeth as they started screaming when I shot the tiny chandelier hanging down the ceiling making it shatter on the table breaking too. They needed a little but if destruction too.
It was past midnight as I had searched the whole city. I donât think that I had left a single road as my heart was bleeding that I would die if she wouldnât come in front of me for another few seconds.
Suddenly the car stopped on its own as I looked to find the petrol was ended. I felt so broken that I didnât have any energy to do anything else then find her. I got down from the car as I started walking to, I didnât know where. I just wanted her.
âPlease come back.â I looked at the empty road as there was no one.
âI promise I would never mess up.â My eyes were red shot with my head throbbing hard in pain.
âI f**king love you so much.â I mumbled again but she wasnât there to listen to me at that time.
I didnât know at what time I reached the mansion all the while walking that I couldnât even feel my legs but that wasnât the thing to notice at that time. I glanced up at the shimmering lights adoring the mansion which was a gesture to show that she was going to live with me forever here, together. Waking up in each otherâs embrace, kissing each other smiles while I listen to her and she just talk about anything with me. I didnât want to enter the mansion as it had started feeling home but since she wasnât there anymore so it wasnât like before. I didnât want to enter the place where I hurt her so much that she left.
Losing my soul to the pain in my heart and the sadness around me I sat down on the stairs of the gardens as there was a fountain shimmering in lights in front of me.
âI lost her.â My voice came out cracked when I heard footsteps behind me. I knew who it was but I didnât care anymore. The person sat one step above at me as he belonged there.
âYou will find her again.â Dadâs voice echoed in the silence.
âIâ¦didnât lift up her veil because I didnât want to look into her eyes while I said those things to her. Seeing her face would have stopped me from saying that. She thinks I deceived her. How would I tell her that she is the only person I have ever fallen in love with.â I said and he listened.
âI am in so f**king love with her. I have never felt like that before because I was so scared that I would end up like you. And I did. You lost mom and now I lost her.â I said as I lowered down my head in between my knees. I didnât want my father to look the tears in my eyes that were forming at that time.
âYou are not like me. I gave up everything when I lost your mother but you, you stood up and took her revenge. You made those suffer but I suffered myself because I didnât have any way to apologize to your mother. She wanted me to leave the mafia and I did without knowing that leaving my throne would make me weak and I wouldnât be able to protect my family.â I for the first tike listened to my dad as I looked up and glanced at his face which was drowning in the pool of past memories. He was hurt and he was suffering.
âItâs my fault that I couldnât protect her and you. If I had done that you wouldnât have to grow up like this. You wouldnât have to enter the dark mafia world. I didnât have any way to correct my mistakes but you have. You can do everything right. Find those who made you do all this as I know we will find Aysham. You arenât the only one who love.â Dad said as he patted my shoulder. A smile cracked on my lips as hearing him soothed him me somehow.
âSirâ¦â One of my men came running towards me as I glared at him to spit it out. ââ¦a beggar came and said someone sent this for you.â He said and handed me the paper making me stood up like an electric shock.
âCOME AND SAVE HER IF YOU WANT.â The sentence rushed the blood into my veins in a boiling way. It was the moment when Imran came running as he informed.
âSuzi told the name finally. We have found who is behind this.â He said and I crumbled the paper in my fist. They all would rot in hell.
