SEVENTY-SEVEN

HIS INNOCENT BRIDE

AYSHAM’s POV:

It felt like everything had ended at that time and the doom was about to come when I was trying to open my eyes despite the throbbing pain in my head. I managed to open my eyes like a slit to come forward with the darkness around me as only the small light coming from the small square shaped window at the corner of the room was coming inside to show me my shimmering dress. I was still in the bridal attire as I didn’t have the energy to change and then leave the place where I received pain and joy both in those recent months.

“You are awake?” My breath hitched as I found the source of the voice very near to me. Squinting my eyes at the corner of the room I felt like someone was sitting and it was true when the tall figure rose to his full height and walked towards me revealing a face that I never saw in my entire life.

“W-who are y-you?” I asked as I couldn’t even back forwards because I was already against the wall.

“I am your husband’s karma. Bilal Chaudry.” He said as face was revealed finally. I never went on appearances but he was scary by even the face too. There was a big scar from his eyebrow towards the corner of the lips as if someone had squished the two sides of his face. His eyes looked familiar though.

“What do you want from me?” I asked as I wasn’t feeling much scared of him because I heard something scary from my own husband few hours ago. He must be marrying Areej right now.

“It’s luck that I was looking at the Knight’s mansion in pure hatred thinking of ways to destroy them and at the moment you cane out of the backyard in the bridal dress. I wasn’t difficult to kidnap you with my own hands. You are so small and I couldn’t let go the fate’s gift after so many years. Do you even know your worth? You are Mrs. Farzan Shah. Not just his wife but his love. F**k! I thought it would be difficult to give him death since he didn’t have any weakness but ah fate ah. I was blessed.” He said as I just frown at him.

“He doesn’t love me.” I also wanted to say that I am small either.

“Have you ever looked the way he looks at you? I am looking at him for years for a perfect timing and the way he looked at you whenever I had saw you together. It was evident. I am not an idiot.” He rasped with his scary face which was ugly too because of all the hatred he had on his face.

“What did he do to you?” I asked.

“He killed me.” He said as for the moment my face went blank. Hn? A ghost?

“He killed me by killing my father, raping my mother and snatching everything from me and my brother.” He explained as I frowned.

“He can never rape anyone.” I stated in anger.

Slap!

My whole body fell on one side when he slapped me all of a sudden as he barked. “WHY DO YOU PEOPLE BELIEVE HIM IN SO MUCH? HE F**KING RUINED MY LIFE AND I WOULD DO THAT TO YOU TOO.”

He snatched me from my hairs making me whimper as I was sure my lip was bleeding at that time when I cried hard because of the pain. He was a monster.

“You…if Farzan finds out that you hit me. He would kill you.” I said while whimpering as he chuckled evilly with his face close to me.

“We will find that out. I would play with him by playing with you.” The way he said that wasn’t good. His eyes darkened and for the first time I was scared to my core.

“LEAVE HER.” The door busted open revealing none other than Ahmad Hashmi. I was confused seeing him as he walked towards him and pushed him away from me.

“I told you bhai we wouldn’t include women in all this. We wouldn’t be like him.” He barked as by bhai I assumed they both were brothers but their surnames were different. They had their eyes similar though.

“There aren’t any rules in taking revenge.” Bilal punched him back as Ahmad bhai clenched his jaw. This time I was hurt as I got the good vibes from Ahmad bhai but he was also betraying.

“There are.” Ahmad bhai clenched his jaw as Bilal tsked his tongue.

“Now she is mine. I would do anything to her. We will have fun later.” Bilal smirked at me as he exited the door leaving Ahmad bhai with a closed fist.

“I-I thought you are a good person.” I said as my lower lip puckered out.

“Nobody is here just because of your f**king husband.” He hissed.

“Don’t talk about him like that.” I frowned as he chuckled with disbelief in his eyes.

“You were running away from your wedding night and still you don’t want me to say anything about him.” He frowned with hate in his eyes which seemed soft all the time.

“I ran away because I wanted to punish him.” I explained.

“So, he doesn’t love you right?” He asked as he kneeled down in front of me.

“He does.” I said after a long pause.

“But your maid Suzi informed us that he was smuggling you.” He took name of Suzi and I looked at him in shock when he added. “Yes, she is our person. She was betraying you all this time.”

“No, he wasn’t. He said at the end if I didn’t want to then he won’t do that.” I mumbled remembering his words.

“And that made you think that he is in love with you?” He chuckled in sympathy as if laughing at my words.

“He didn’t lift up my veil.” I smiled for the first time in a while making him make a confuse expression and I further added. “He made me eat the food as he knew I would never eat without him. He didn’t lift up my veil as he didn’t want to say that looking into my eyes. He never wanted to smuggle me or otherwise he wouldn’t have said no at the end. He didn’t even look at me for once while saying those things to me. I realized that late but he didn’t mean any of the things. He loves me but he still needed punishment for hurting me like that with his words. I knew he would find me anyway.”

“You are a soft soul. How can you love a person like that? I called with restricted number so that you can part ways from him long ago. This part of revenge is dirty and scary for you. I told you to be careful and run away from him. Now my brother would never let you go unless taking advantage of you in several ways. F**k! I have to get you out of here.” He said at last to himself frustratingly. He indeed was a good person.

“He loves me. He will find me.” I said with hope shimmering in my eyes when I further added. “And I swear on Allah, I know Farzan could never rape anyone. He can be a killer but he could never be a rapist. I heard from everyone his dad his friends that he had never killed innocent people. He treats people the way they deserve. He never even tried to take advantage of me. I would never believe he did anything like that.”

“He killed my dad and he…my mother.” He couldn’t complete the sentence.

“Take me as evidence of him being innocent in your mother’s case. He would never do that.” I said wit hope in my eyes as he clenched and unclenched his jaw.

“Let’s see.” He said and walked out of the door as if he was going to do something.

FARZAN’S POV:

In no time me and my men reached the place mentioned on the chit that the beggar gave us. I had to save her in any way as I brought all of my men even Zaroon and Muzamil who didn’t like the idea of staying at the mansion as soon as they heard about the execution of my plan.

It was looking like a warehouse from outside but the moment I entered it was a house despite looking like an abandoned warehouse from afar being in the center of the forest.

“Who are…?” The guard was about to say something when one of my skilled men choked him. We weren’t here to waste time on the guards.

“AYSHAM.” I screamed at the top of my lungs as I shot in the air to announce I was here and she didn’t have to be scared anymore.

“Woah! Woah look who is here?” I turned around to see an unfamiliar face descending down the stairs. The face wasn’t familiar though because of the scar although I knew him very well.

“Bilal Chaudry.” I tilted my head in a way to greet him with a clenched jaw.

“You must be surprised seeing me.” He chuckled.

“I am at that point of my life where these things don’t surprise me at all.” I grumbled as he laughed.

“Yeah, you are right. You have killed so many people that you are now just immune to everything. I must not be surprised knowing how did you find out about my house?” He laughed with ugliness dripping from his every part.

“First you had a traitor which was a very bold move but she was weak and second you have a brother who isn’t like you.” I could see the change in colors of his eyes despite the smile on his face when he found out his brother Ahmad Hashmi informed me about this place.

“You did this?” It was the moment when Ahmad walked into the lounge with his clenched jaw when Bilal asked him.

“Let the girl go and end these years long game. People should get now what they deserve?” Ahmad said the last part looking at me making me smile.

“Yes. Like you deserved an awful death but still I let you go because you were minors and I wasn’t like a monster like your f**king farther.” I clenched the gun in my hand tightly.

“Yeah, I am also tired of this game too.” Muzamil retorted behind me.

“Let’s end this.” Zaroon added as they were immune to blood shedding like me but they weren’t as brutal as me.

“Don’t talk about my farther with that f**king mouth of yours. You deserve an awful death. You killed my father and gang raped my mother.” Ahmad gritted his teeth as I chuckled at his words when I looked at Bilal who was smirking.

“You really had filled him with stories.” I said with a smirk as Bilal’s smirk grew.

“I had to keeping him by my side but still he called you here.” Bilal looked at Ahmad with hatred at the end as Ahmad looked confused.

“What?” He asked as I decided to answer.

“I killed your farther because he killed my mother in front of my eyes. I shot both of you in front of your farther so he could get the taste of what he did to me but I wasn’t like him. I shot you where there wouldn’t be permanent injuries. I sent you two to boarding school. I paid for your studies and everything unless your brother decided to run away with you. I didn’t follow you because I wasn’t your farther to raise you. And about your mother so she was a prostitute. I came at the wrong moment I guess because at that time your mother was bleeding profusely in front of your farther because she couldn’t get the deal, he wanted despite she came after the gang rape. Your farther is the one who killed your mother by using her in his dirty deals. I couldn’t even kill in the way he deserves because I wasn’t skilled at that time.” I said in regret.

“You-you are lying. He is lying right?” He turned to Bilal and his stoned expressions gave him the answer. “You lied to me the entire time. I was only seven years old and you said these…you are a f**king liar. Why did you want the revenge?” He shouted at the top of his lungs at his older brother.

“We could have ruled the mafia. We were living an expensive life without any pain and he snatched everything from us. I have to take everything back from him. You know I had to mingle with gangsters just to survive. This scar on my face is evidence of that. We were in boarding school but we never deserved that. We deserved the life which he is living right now. We would live with the name of our farther without different surnames.” He said with poison in his voice.

“I don’t want his surname. Our farther got what he deserved. Didn’t you hear what he did to our mother?” He shouted in disbelief.

“I never care about that woman. She prioritized her life on her children. She deserved that death.” He smirked with hatred as it was evident that he was like his parents who just lived for money and that’s it. I wonder on who Ahmad took after? I had a doubt she was Chaudry’s son as her mother was a prostitute so that was the possibility.

“We aren’t here for the family drama.” Zaroon said from behind as he was getting tired of the drama.

“Where is our bhabi? She is very important to us. She is the one who has all the strings of our devil.” Muzamil said making me clench my jaw but he didn’t care less.

“Yeah. Let’s end this and I will have what I deserve all this time.” He said as he motioned one of his men making all of us alert but I became stiff when his men came dragging my Aysham from a room.

“F-Farzan.” She said with her chin wobbling as the blood at the corner of her lips boiled my blood.

“You aren’t going to die unless you beg for it.” I said raising my gun towards Bilal as that was the moment when suddenly his men surrounded us from all the sides.

“I want to see every expression on your face when I would press this trigger.” Bilal said as his gun was pointing towards Aysham triggering every nerve in my body.

“Put that down.” I gritted my teeth.

“The moment you move I would press this trigger.” He smirked making his face uglier.

“I would rot you in hell.” I said with a clenched jaw as he laughed while saying. “Put your gun down and then we would move towards negotiations.” He demanded as I didn’t have any other choice. His men came and took my gun away. If it wasn’t for Aysham I would have shot him right then and there.

“No Farzan.” My Aysham said but I had to do that at that time.

“I’ll give you the position in the mafia like your farther. Let her go.” I tried to deal.

“I’ll take that otherwise too when you will be dead but I am sensible person. I would send your wife with you to the life of hereafter too. 3…2…” He said pulling the trigger.

“NO.” I screamed as he stopped.

“Look. Look at your face as if someone is taking out of your soul.” He said as if he was taking fun in all of this.

“You think the cycle of revenge would end like this. You would never get what you want. I would have an influence even after death. You know why your farther is vanished as if he never existed because he never did anything that could made him exist. Name anything your farther had done with someone that could turn towards you with love and respect. My farther had done this and that would go long because these things never die.” I said with a gritted teeth as it was the truth. People respected me because of my parents.

“You think that would affect me. I should show what would give my soul respect from me.” He said as he pointed the gun towards Aysham tensing every fiber in my body as I really felt like the soul leaving my body.

“I would never let you turn into our farther.” Ahmad said as he snatched the gun from Bilal’s hand but it was too late as the loud sound of gunshot made the sleeping birds in the trees of the forest to fly away like in a havoc.
