The next day, Jessica was in her office, dealing with some contracts, when Wendy walked in with a

lot of documents.

After Jessica signed the documents, Wendy still didn't leave. She hedged a bit before she said to

Jessica, “Miss Hall, there's one more thing you need to know.”

pick you up.”

Justin chuckled and said, “It doesn't matter. It's not the first time I've come to New York. Besides, I'm

here to discuss something big with you, Mr. Hall.”

Morgan could guess Justin's intention, but he pretended to be puzzled. “What are you here for, Mr.

Thomas?”

Justin laughed and coughed a few more times. Then, he glanced at Dwayne behind him. “Dwayne,

bring the documents over to Mr. Hall.”

Dwayne then quickly took out the prepared documents from his briefcase and placed them on the

table before Morgan. “Mr. Hall, Mrs. Hall, this is the compensation Mr. Thomas plans to offer to Miss

Hall.”

With that, Justin sighed. “Mr. Hall, I know that the Thomas family has let Jessica down. I know I

didn't teach my grandchildren well, which was why Jessica had some unhappy memories at our
