Lucas and Justin made quite a big noise in the study. Dwayne could even hear their conversation

from outside.

Naturally, Rebecca, who had followed Lucas upstairs, heard what Justin had said too.

Dwayne had no right to tell Rebecca to leave. Rebecca said she had something to say to Lucas and

would just wait outside.

At first, Lucas and Justin didn’t make too much noise, so Dwayne didn't ask Rebecca to leave.

Right now, Justin was obviously furious, and Dwayne didn’t dare to knock on the door to interrupt

him. He could only stand there expressionlessly.

Rebecca had been married to Louis for so many years, and she no longer had feelings for him.

Rebecca glanced at him. “Dwayne, when did father know that woman had a son?”

Dwayne also glanced at Rebecca, feeling very awkward. “Only recently. Don’t worry, Mr. Thomas was

just scaring Lucas. As the saying goes, criticism is a form of love. Mr. Thomas only said that because

he wanted Lucas to face his own heart.”

He comforted her briefly, and Rebecca did not say anything else. The two stood outside the door.

Dwayne glanced at the door of the study, hoping that Lucas and Justin would quickly end their

conversation.

Justin finished his harsh words and sat there, gasping for breath.

Lucas was absent-minded for a while. After a while, he looked at Justin. “Grandpa, your hard work

made the Thomas family. You may give it to whomever you like. I won't have any complaints. But I

do hope, you could just stay out of things between Jessica and me.”

Lucas said with a cold face, got up, and left directly, which made Justin's blood pressure rise.

Lucas opened the door and saw Dwayne and Rebecca outside. He frowned and expressionlessly

walked past them

Dwayne was worried about Justin's blood pressure and hurriedly walked in. He could tell that

Justin's blood pressure indeed rose out of anger, so he hurried to make Justin take the hypotensor.

Rebecca stood at the door, looking at Justin, who was leaning against the table. Having recalled

what Justin had said, Rebecca suddenly had an evil thought.

But soon, Justin took the pill and caught sight of Rebecca at the door. His eyes lit up at once.

Rebecca felt a bit guilty, so she quickly turned to chase Lucas. “Lucas, wait, let's talk!”

Justin gradually recovered. He frowned and asked, “When did Rebecca come?”

Dwayne was a little embarrassed. “She has been waiting for Mr. Lucas at the door for a while.”

When Louis and Rebecca were first married, Justin was quite satisfied with Rebecca's family.
