Chapter 160
Heartbreak Brings Mr. Right
His deep voice and his scent were challenging for Lindsey to resist, causing her neck to blush.
She said softly, âThatâs not what I intended.
â
âThen what do you mean? So, should I go back and seek out Kristy?
Well, I guess Iâll go then.
â After saying that, Domenic turned around and was about to leave.
But Lindsey quickly tugged at the corner of his coat.
A satisfied smile spread across his face.
Turning back, he faced Lindsey, who was standing there with a hesitant look.
âDonât leaveâ¦â she murmured, her head down, speaking so softly it was barely audible.
âWhat did you say? Youâll have to speak up; I didnât hear that.
â
Lindsey bit her Lip and then exclaimed, âDonât go, I donât want you to leave.

Domenic turned back, his eyebrows arching elegantly.
He stepped closer and said softly, âAlright, I wonât leave.

He yearned to keep her close, despite lingering doubts in his mind.
His eyes were as deep as the sea, flashing with a complicated Light.
He was about to ki*s her, but at the last moment, he turned his head and instead wrapped her in a warm embrace.
âJust let me hug you like this, okay?â He asked, resting his head on her shoulder, his face against her slender neck.
The tickling sensation on her neck and the flutter in her heart made it impossible for Lindsey not to agree.
As she nodded, Domenic tightened his embrace, as though trying to melt her into his body.
It was odd that she wanted to distance herself from him.
She knew she couldnât engage in intimate behavior with him anymore, but her body was unwilling to push him away.
She found herself indulging in the tenderness he offered.
What was she to do?
It felt as though she couldnât bear to be apart from himâ¦
