“A close friend of mine is keen to attend but lacks an invitation.

“How many invitations do you need?” Brady inquired.

If it were in the past, he would have accompanied her, but given his current circumstances, that was no longer possible.

Avoid any disturbances, or no one will be able to protect your friend.

“Well, did he agree to help?” Lindsey asked, her voice tinged with anticipation as Sumner set the phone aside.
