Of course, Wendy couldn’t imagine that Adrian Zhekova would really target Zoe Silverstone just for Cindy Clarke.

“I paid for all this money!” Wendy exclaimed.

“Do you think that once the money is in your hands, it is yours?” Joshua said, “These are all things you got in exchange for Cindy. To put it bluntly, they all belong to Cindy!”

“So, don’t bring up the idea of having her pay for the restaurant’s compensation anymore!” Joshua said, “Whether Cindy has money or not, you shouldn’t be thinking about taking advantage of her!”

Wendy’s face turned pale.

This was the first time she had tasted the bitterness of being robbed of credit and being unable to speak since she was born.
