“Oh, by the way, is your family’s restaurant a stock company?” Old Madam suddenly asked.

Joshua Clarke: “…”

Seeing the three Clarke family members, Cindy seemed so surprised that she forgot to greet her grandparents first.

With a surprised expression, Old Madam asked, “How did you come back so soon? Weren’t you going on a date?”

Adrian Zhekova took over: “We just finished watching a movie, and it’s already noon, so, we came back to grab a meal.”

Christy Xenos and Joshua Clarke were now speechless in front of Adrian Zhekova.

Cindy didn’t let Christy finish and said, “You just said that you told me you were going to visit today. How can you change your story and say we never had contact? If there’s no contact, how could you tell me about the visit? Your statements are contradictory, can you give a clear explanation?”

Christy Xenos hesitated, realizing her mistake.

She was too focused on finding loopholes in Cindy’s words that she forgot what she had said before.
