Chapter 792: 792: Can't Hold It Anymore
Daddy! Come Home for Dinner!
She added a little butter into the pot, and before it got too hot, she poured in the beaten eggs.
At the same time, she kept stirring.
As the pot slowly heated up, Cindy quickly lifted it to allow it to cool down a bit.
Meanwhile, she didnât stop stirring the eggs.
That way, the eggs slowly became thicker but not fully cooked, turning into a milky yellow color that was somewhat like pudding, soft and tender.
Then, she placed the eggs on top of the slightly browned toast.
Cindy brewed coffee for herself and Adrian Zhekova, and poured a cup of warm milk for little Morgan.
Apart from the simple toast and eggs, there was also a vegetable salad served in a glass bowl.
The salad was placed in a large bowl, and everyone served themselves as needed.
Little Morgan pondered on what to do today while eating.
Now that it was cold outside, he didnât feel like engaging in outdoor activities.
âI want to go ice skating,â little Morgan said, âand since theyâre showing the Detective Conan movie now, can we watch it before going to ice skate?â
Cindy quickly looked at Adrian.
Adrian smiled, wondering if the child was worried he would say no.
It wasnât an excessive request, so Adrian agreed, âSure, since Morgan wants to watch a movie and go ice skating, I chose a shopping mall that has its own ice rink.â
When little Morgan brought up this request, Adrian realized that he didnât know much about the mother and son duo, and had no idea if they knew how to ice skate.
So he asked, and Cindy shyly replied, âI canât skate; only Morgan can. Last spring, I took Morgan to the shopping mall, and the ice rink was on the second floor. When we were shopping on the third floor, we could see the entire rink below.â
âMorgan liked it and wanted to give it a try,â Cindy explained. âBut since he didnât know how, I had to find a coach for him.â
âWhy didnât you learn with him?â Adrian asked, âDidnât you like it?â
Apart from this reason, Adrian couldnât think of any other.
Even without his help, Cindyâs income was quite considerable, so she definitely wouldnât mind hiring another coach.
Cindy shyly said, âAt that time, there were only male coaches available.â
Adrian immediately understood.
A male coach would have to hold her hand while teaching.
And if she fell, heâd have to hold her and help her up.
Adrian felt a pang of jealousy just thinking about this scene.
It was all just his imagination, and it hadnât even happened, yet he couldnât help feeling jealous.
If Cindy had really learned, Adrian would have been overwhelmed by jealousy.
Adrian was glad that Cindy didnât actually learn to skate.
Cindy then continued, âWhen I took Morgan to skate later, he had learned, but I was worried that he might stumble and couldnât maintain balance if he fell. Morgan was still too young, so I just kept an eye on him.â
âIf I had learned to skate as well, who would watch Morgan? I didnât feel comfortable leaving him unattended.â
As a result, Cindy never learned to skate.
After explaining herself, Cindy suddenly thought about Adrian and asked, âDo you know how to skate?â
Adrian nodded, âI do. I learned when I was at Jetaime Academy.â
After all, Jetaime Academy was different from ordinary schools.
Ordinary schools naturally prioritize academic achievements, aiming for good results in college entrance exams and admission to better universities.
However, Jetaime Academy was different.
Students at Jetaime Academy naturally didnât have to worry about their future.
Their families had businesses, and they could be given a suitable position even if they were incompetent.
However, despite this, there were no incompetent students at Jetaime Academy.
They just had different social circles to deal with, and a bigger world with more things to face.
They couldnât just focus on their current academic achievements; instead, they had to learn many other skills.
Otherwise, how would they socialize and do business with others, and how would they strike up conversations?
When people talked about golf while doing business, would it be alright for you not to know?
When they discussed horse racing, would it be alright for you not to understand?@@novelbin@@
Some people liked extreme sports, such as skydiving or paragliding. Would it be alright for you never to have experienced them?
Wouldnât you be laughed at?
When everyone was wealthy and well-connected, it would do them no good not knowing a wide range of high-end hobbies. How could they strike deals without having anything in common?
Thatâs why, at Jetaime Academy, besides learning cultural and professional courses, there were many extracurricular interest skill courses available.
For example, shooting, swimming, diving, skiing, golf, horse riding, flower arrangement, various dance styles, and yoga.
Take skiing as an example. Skiing courses were taught directly at the ski resorts.
On vacations, the school would organize winter and summer camps for the students.
They would charter a plane and go to Switzerland all together.
So Adrian Zhekova knew how to ice skate as well.
Adrian asked little Morgan, âHow good are you at it now? Are you proficient?â
Little Morgan proudly nodded, âNot bad at all. I can skate normally, but Iâm not great at figure skating, like spinning.â
To little Morgan, ice skating was just a hobby, something he enjoyed.
So Cindy didnât plan to develop any professional skating skills for him and didnât arrange for him to have regular ice skating lessons every week.
As long as Morgan knew how to skate and wouldnât easily fall, that would be enough.
If Morgan truly wanted to learn more professional skills, he would ask for it himself.
Cindyâs approach to educating Morgan was to let him play freely and happily.
Whether it was ice skating, playing with Legos, or taking him to paint at an art studio, they were all just ways to enrich his leisure time.
There was no particular expectation for him to excel in any of them.
Adrian laughed and told Cindy, âPerfect, Iâll teach you today.â
Having Adrian teach her today was convenient.
Cindy happily nodded.
After the three finished eating and tidying up, they headed to the shopping mall.
On the way there, Cindy reserved movie tickets on an app and also ordered snacks and Coke.
They picked up the tickets at the movie theater and headed to the auditorium together.
Cindy intentionally left the middle seat for little Morgan.
She and Adrian sat on either side of him.
With his short legs, little Morganâs feet couldnât touch the ground.
As his feet dangled in the air, he peeked to the left and saw Adrian, and then to the right and saw Cindy.
He suddenly felt incredibly happy.
He felt like he was surrounded by his parentsâ love.
After the movie, little Morgan hurriedly said, âI have to pee! I canât hold it anymore!â
