Chapter 102
It’s Too Late To Get A Divorce
Chapter 102
âThen wonât you be in danger? Jaydon, I canât let you die. Youâre so good to me. Iâm so touched.â Evelyn was so touched that she was about to cry.
Alita, on the other hand, was stupefied. If she were alone with Jaydon again, that would be terrible.
She thought, âTo hell with his talk of evil spirits.â
âMr. Lewis.â Alita was furious. She couldnât care less and said, âDonât take advantage of me. There arenât evil spirits in this world. Stop pretending. Let go of me, you bastard.â
âSheâs feeling guilty,â Jaydon said calmly.
Evelyn nodded in agreement. âYes, sheâs feeling guilty.â
âTake the flashlight and go over quickly. Remember, no matter what sounds you hear, donât come over because Iâm fighting her,â Jaydon said. righteously.
âDonât go over, Evelyn. Heâs lying to you. He wants to take advantage of me. Donât let him have his way. Trust me.â Alita wished she could tell Evelyn that she was Jaydonâs exâwife.
Evelyn held the flashlight and looked at Alita in fear. âI donât believe you. Jaydon is a gentleman. He wonât do that. Donât lie to me.â As she spoke, she looked at Jaydon with admiration and affection. âDarling, youâre my hero.â
Alita was dumbstruck.
She swore that for the first time in her life, she was rendered speechless. She wondered what kind of spell Jaydon had cast over Evelyn.
Jaydon smiled knowingly. âGo now. Iâll fight here.â
Evelyn rushed into the tent next door in the dark with a flashlight, scaring Karen and the others out of their wits. They screamed, thinking that some wild beast had come.
Chapter 102
When they saw it was Evelyn, their jaws dropped.
âMiss⦠Miss Jenner, why are you here?â Karen picked up the half of the biscuit that had fallen to the ground and nibbled on it again.
Evelyn told them what had just happened. âIt was really scary, so Jaydon told me to hide here. Heâs fighting alone. Heâs a real man.â
Karen, Sabina, and Crystal froze.
The same question appeared in their minds at the same time. Was Mr. Lewis really not taking advantage of Ms. Thompson?
Silence fell. After a gust of desolate wind blew outside, they did not make a sound or express any opinion. They ate biscuits, played games, and slept.
If Alita knew they left her in the lurch, she would definitely skin them alive.
one by one.
In the other tent, Jaydon laughed arrogantly and devilishly. âItâs just the two of us now. No one will save you even if you scream your lungs out.â
âI think youâre the one whoâs crazy instead. Youâre so different from usual.â Alita struggled with her hands. She was in complete despair. She was in the forest, and with the heavy rain outside, there was no way she could escape from this small tent.
Jaydon laughed. âYouâre right, Iâm the devil.â
âJaydon, youâre getting married. Why are you still entangled with me? Do you think itâs interesting? I really donât understand whatâs going on in your mind. What do you want?â Alita felt very helpless.
Jaydon leaned against her limply. He turned sideways and hugged her tightly. He closed his green eyes. âThis is what I want.â
Alita was stunned. She grabbed his hair and said, âYouâre being silly!â
âAm I being silly? I think itâs good. Wifey, I really want to hug you to sleep.â Jaydon adjusted his posture and pulled the blanket to cover them.
Chapter 102
âBut I donât want to sleep with you. Besides, Iâm not your wife.â Alita pushed him away but was hugged tightly by him again.
âWe either sleep or make love. Itâs your choice.â Jaydon stared at the
woman in his arms.
âCan I choose to send you flying with a kick?â Alita asked angrily.
Jaydon chuckled. âObviously not.â
Alita smiled and leaned in his arms. She said, âLetâs sleep.â She closed her eyes and thought that when Jaydon fell asleep later, she would quietly escape from his control and look for anything that could be used as a
weapon.
