Chapter 63
It’s Too Late To Get A Divorce
Chapter 63
The butler was already waiting at the door when Alita was back at the Lewis family.
Alitaâs heart skipped a beat, and she quickly figured out what he wanted.
It was not surprising to Jaydon at all. He knew his grandpaâs style too well. it, heâd definitely follow
It his grandpa said heâd do through. It had been ingrained in him since Jaydon was little.
âSir. Madam, Mr. Mike said that Dr. Gerry Brooks will come over at 10 oâclock every night, the butler said respectfully and stitfly
âGot it! Go back and tell Grandpa no problem. Let him rest asstired, Jaydon replied casually.
âOkay.â The butler bowed respectfully to Jaydon, straightened his back, and walked away.
Alita stood on the spot. Her feet seemed to have taken root, unable to move.
âLetâs go upstairs Jaydon took a few steps forward, and when he saw that Alita didnât follow, he turned around and added, Thereâs no use procrastinating
âYou go ahead first. Iâll go outside for a breath of fresh air. Iâll be right back.â Alita turned and walked outside.
Jaydon took a quick glance at her. He thought about chasing after her but stopped in his tracks. After pausing for a few seconds, he walked upstairs.
Alita looked around as she sat on the swing in the garden, thinking. âWhat a fancy cage this is. I canât do what I want, but I have to do things I donât want to do.â
Her mood was terrible today. She couldnât immediately sleep with Jaydon now, but even if she just wanted to take a break for a day, that was not possible. And if she couldnât do it, she would have to resort to artificial insemination. Grandpa thought that solidifying her position would make her happy, but happiness wasnât like that..
Leaning on the swing, she looked down at her own toes.
The swing suddenly started to make a creek sound. It swayed back and forth, being pushed out, and then swayed back again.
Alita quickly grabbed onto the two sides of the swing with both hands and looked back, only to see someone standing to her left. She slowly moved her gaze upwards to see a silver fox mask shining in the moonlight.
âItâs you!â she exclaimed, trying to stand up from the swing in a panic.
As soon as she lifted her foot, she was immediately pressed back down heavily.
âSit downâ said the masked man, his voice just as pleasant as before.
Alita stopped moving, and the masked man reached out and pushed her away again. The wind created by the movement should have been refreshing in the summer, but Alita only felt nervous.
She let him push the swing, thinking to herself, âNow that Kim Andrews is not with the Lewis family, he can be completely ruled out, which could lead to the conclusion that Kim couldnât possibly risk changing clothes and leading me to the little house when the ceremony was about to start because he couldnât possibly have a double
There appeared a person she had always suspected in her mind, but it was impossible. Besides him, there would be no one
else.

âFeeling down?â the marked man asked again.
âI remember you speak Frendish very well. At first. I thought you were a foreign magician, but it turns out you re Exkanese Can I ask where you learned ?â Alita said as she casually grabbed his hand and left a bloody scratch.
The masked man let out a soft grunt and raised his hand to take a look
Alita apologized hurriedly. Sorry, I was trying to grab your hand to stop the swing. I didnât mean to hurt you
âNo worries. Im a magician. A linle magic can heal the wound, the masked man said with a smirk. âItâs so considerate of
you.
The masked man bent down towards Alita, his big hand grabbing her two hands resting on the swing. With a sly smirk, he got close to her and breathed out âDid I make your heart flutter!
âI donât even know who you are. How could I like you? And, we re so familiarâ Alita took a glance at his hand, thinking. Heâs really cautious. I was planning to take off his mask while he was close. How cunning and crafty this person isâ
âWeâre indeed familiar. Weâve actually met three times before replied the masked man.
âWeâve met way more than three times. We see each other everyday Youâre a man of the Lewis family, and there are only at few young men in the Lewis family Even if Iâm not that smart. Iwonât be fooled forever, right retorted Alita.
âTo say Iâm fooling you is so harsh It really hurts me said the man
I know who you are. There is no need to act.â Alita almost blurted out his name, but she didnât have the courage to ruin the image of that person in her heart.
The man was staring at her up close, the wind blowing her hair back as it passed them, making his image even clearer. His silver mask shone brightly in the moonlight, giving off a sense of mystery and danger.
That was something that didnât exist in the person she knew. These two completely different sides gave her the chills even more. Now, she kind of believed Jaydonâs words
âYour crying face is so ugly. You should really smile more and make yourself happier,â added the man.
âYou are so calculated. Iâm curious what your purpose is This was also something Alita couldnât figure out.
âMy only goal is to make you happy, so I will keep trying my best, replied the masked man.
âMake me happy? I think youâre trying to bring disaster to me. You want me to break up with Jaydon for good. You have had intentions, but I canât imagine, even youâ¦â Alita forced a smile and stopped the sentence. âI should go back to my roomâ
The masked man straightened his body, and his face grew a little colder. âAfter Mike leaves, leave the Lewis family. You have no reason to continue suffering. Consider my words carefully.â
âHuh!â Alita sneered. âNow, more and more people are considering me. Should I be grateful and touched or do your own agenda too?â
you have
The man stepped back a few paces and said, âI thought you said you were going back to your room? If you donât leave now, Iâll make you leave.â
After thinking about it, Alita stood up and immediately left. She had already hurt his hand and would find out the man
tomorrow.
The masked man glanced at her back and raised his injured hand to take a check.

Chapter 63
In the room, Jaydon had just finished showering. He was now leaning on the couch drinking wine, wearing a dark purple robe, with a hint of loneliness in his eyes, which startled Alita as she entered the room.
âAm I seeing things right? Jaydon actually had such an expression?â wondered Alita. When she wanted to take another look, Jaydon had already noticed her coming in, and his expression returned to normal.
âYou finished your break yet?â he asked casually, swaying the wine glass in his hand.
âYep, answered Alita.
âAre you ready or not? Itâs almost 10 oâclock, and thereâs not much time left. If you really donât want to have sex with me, you might as well just do artificial insemination. Jaydon felt upset thinking about how resistant she was to him.
Alita was standing there with a slight smile. âTodayâs Jaydon Lewis seems like heâs had a change of heart. Itâs rare to see you! giving me time and a choice.
âSay one more sentence of nonsense, and youâll waste another menute of my time, Jaydon said casually, taking a sip of the
wine.
âHeâs right about this!â said Alita inwardly. Iâm taking a shower.â
After a long time, Jaydon looked at her, saying, âActually, weâre pretty good just like this.â
