Chapter 235
Mistaken Marriage, Unexpected Love
Camila sipped some milk and then asked, âSo, how can | help you, Forrest? If you have something to say to me, say it now. | still
have to go to work.â
âWhat work?â
ââ'm a dance teacher,â Camila answered.
Amoment of silence passed between them before Forrest asked, âDid you fight with Isaac?â
Raising a brow, Camila questioned, âDidnât he tell you?â
âHe didnât. | called you that night because he asked me to drink with him, which seldom happens because heâs never been a fan
of alcohol. He also looked very sad at that time.â
Camila snorted. âWhy? Was he sad because he didnât embarrass me enough?â
Forrest did not know what to say for a while.
âHe was sad because you tried to set him up with Debora,â he pointed out.
Camilaâs eyes widened.
âWhat did you say?â
Forrest repeated what he said before frowning. âYou didnât know?â Camila only knew that Isaac was very angry that night and
that he wanted to humiliate her.
However, she had no idea what had set him off.
As it turned out, it was because he found out that she was working with Debora.
Now, she understood why he had been so angry.
â| didnât know that.â Camila then continued, âI want him and Debora to get back together so that | can leave.â
âHe doesnât Love Debora, though, so of course, heâd be angry.â
Forrest sighed.
âYou're Lucky he didnât kill you.â
Camila smiled bitterly.
âIt'd be my own fault if he killed me. Iâve made a mistake. No matter the reason | married him, | should've stayed faithful to him as
his wife. I've messed up, and | canât undo it. If | could set things right, | would.â
âTell me the truth. Do you regret it?â Forrest, worried that she would not get it, clarified, â| mean, do you regret sleeping with that
man?â
Camila did not say a word.
After a long pause, she said, âI canât say for sure. | feel bad about the current situation.â If only sheâd controlled her urges, she
wouldn't have been in this predicament now, trying to escape with a baby in her belly.
That night had changed everything. If it hadnât worked out the way it had, she might very well have been closer to her actualizing
her dreams now.
