Chapter 588
Mistaken Marriage, Unexpected Love
âIt's very strange. Whoever did this was very careful and left no trace.â
Robin narrowed his eyes.
âCould it be Isaac?â
Stevie pondered for a moment and then shook his head decisively.
âAlthough he seems to love her, | donât think he loves her to the point that heâd kidnap her from her wedding.â
âBesides, they were only married for a little over a year, and during that period of time, she had disappeared for months on end.
Even if they were in love, | doubt Isaac would go to such lengths for her,â Robin commented.
â| agree. And you know Isaac best. Heâs a smart and rational man. | donât think heâd be obsessed by a woman, right?â Stevie
analyzed.
After thinking for a while, Robin had to agree. After all, he had never seen Isaac do anything ridiculous for a woman.
âSir, Isaac needs a good wife. Obviously, Camilaâs not the right choice. She is too free-spirited. Donât you think so?â Stevie
asked.
Robin narrowed his eyes and muttered, âSheâs a doctor, and most girls nowadays are like that, right?â
Stevie shook his head meaningfully.
Angelaâs Library
â| think it'd be easier to control Fidelia...â
â| know you want me to choose Fidelia over Camila, but Isaac doesnât like her. | invited them to dinner yesterday, but Isaac didnât
even come. Just imagine how difficult it'd be to make a match between them.â Robin once felt guilty for trying to set his grandson
up with Fidelia, but now that he was thinking about it, he realized that he was running out of time. If Isaac couldnât find a good
wife, Robin wouldn't be able to rest in peace.
If lsaac couldnât find love soon, he would become more cold-blooded and merciless when Robin died.
â| just think that whoever becomes his wife doesnât need to be particularly smart. As long as she loves him and takes good care
of him, thatâs more than enough, donât you think?â
Robin glanced at Stevie and asked in a low voice, âDo you still want me to set up my grandson with Fidelia?â
âWell, you did promise Tripp that youâd take care of his granddaughter. You also wanted this to happen in the beginning. If you
give up now, how will you explain it to Tripp?â Stevie paused for a moment before continuing, âJust think about it. Who do you
think is more suitable to be with Isaac? Camila or Fidelia?â
âAhem...â Robin started to cough violently, and Stevie quickly poured him a glass of water.
âHere.â
Robin drank the water, and it made him feel a bit better, but his throat still felt uncomfortable.
âDo you need me to call Dr. Walters over?â Stevie asked with concern. Robin waved his hand dismissively.
âNo need.â
Just then, a servant came in and announced, âSir, Miss Armstrong is here.â
Robin felt inexplicably annoyed when he heard this.
