Chapter 84
Mistaken Marriage, Unexpected Love
Seeing that it was Willie calling, he answered it.
âDebora wants to see you,â Willie reported.
â| donât want to see her,â Isaac said harshly.
Willie hesitated for a moment. âShe said it was urgent...â
âWhat does she want this time?â Isaac still refused to see her.
But because she had saved him previously, he still owed her.
âShe said that she has a good friend named Camila who lost her job. She wanted her friend to go to Military Central Hospital with
her, so sheâs asking if you could help her with it.â
When Debora mentioned Camilaâs name, Willie didnât show her that he knew Camila. He simply repeated Deboraâs words to
Isaac in verbatim Hearing this, Isaacâs expression softened somewhat.
He wasnât expecting Debora would intercede for Camila.
âI'LL help her,â Isaac agreed readily.
But it wasnât because of Debora that he agreed so easily.
It was because he didnât want Camila to go out again, parading as a barmaid, because she didnât have a job.
He also didnât want her talking with other men about nasty things on the Internet!
He still couldnât believe she had said such things to a stranger online!
âOkay,â Willie answered. After hanging up the phone, he conveyed Isaacâs words to Debora.
Despite the fact that Isaac had agreed to help her, Debora wasnât happy. After all, Isaac still refused to see her
The following day, Camila went to work at the dance studio, as usual.
But today, Elva rushed up to her and gave her a big hug. âMr. Johnston decided to invest. Oh, my goodness! Thank you so much
for your help
Did he do anything to you when he took you away?â
Camila shook her head.
âNo.â
Just then, her phone rang. It was Debora calling.
Frowning, Camila hesitated for a moment before finally answering the phone. Deboraâs voice sounded from the other end of the
line, saying âIâm sorry for what happened yesterday, Camila. | was too impulsive Please donât be mad at me. To make it up to
you, Iâve asked Isaac for help. Thanks to him, your internship in the Military Central Hospital will start today. It starts at nine,
okay?â
Camila frowned. It was out of character for Debora to help her. But Camila didnât want to let this opportunity slip from her fingers,
so she said, âOkay.â
After getting off the phone with Debora, she resigned from the job as a dance teacher. Elva was very easy-going and even paid
her upfront.
