Chapter 95
Mistaken Marriage, Unexpected Love
Surprised, she stuttered, âWhy... Why are you here?â
As he pushed Debora out of the way, Forrest snarled, âDo you really think you can do whatever you want just because Iâm not
around?â
Pointing at Camila, Debora reasoned, âShe slap me first! Canât you see how red my face is?â
Forrest had seen Camila slap Debora as well as heard their conversation. âYou endangered her unborn children first.â
Debora could not respond to that.
She spun around in a fit of rage and glared at Camila. âIâm not done with you yet. Youâd better not let your guard down.â
After Debora left, Camila was able to calm down a bit.
Forrest stared at her with a frown.
âWhat happened? Are you really pregnant? Whoâs the father? Is it Isaac?â
Camila shook her head. âNo.â
âThen who is it?â Forrest questioned, the volume of his voice subconsciously increasing.
When he realized that he had gotten too emotional, he added in a quieter tone, âYou donât even have a boyfriend. How did you
get pregnant?â
In a hunched posture, Camila replied, âI donât want to talk about it.â âWhy not? You're single and pregnant. Do you plan to raise
your children alone? Tell me. Who is he? Did he dump you? | can teach him a lesson if you want.â Forrest could not quite wrap
his head around the fact that Camila was pregnant.
He was under the impression that she was the kind of woman who would never easily give herself to a man
But now, she was pregnant. Despite her reluctance, Camila decided to tell Forrest what had happened that day.
âIsaac and | got married in secret, not because we like each other but because my father wants to be in-laws with the Johnstons.
He took advantage of the fact that my grandfather had rescued Isaacâs grandfather before. In the end, the Johnston family had
no choice but to agree to our marriage.â
Forrest was not surprised by what he learned He already thought that something was fishy when he found out that Isaac and
Camila knew each other.
The fact that the two were forced to tie the knot caught him a little off guard, though.
Forrest knew a few things about Camilaâs father
For instance, he knew that the man had always treated his daughter horribly.
âWhat about the baby?â Forrest asked.
Camilaâs reluctance to speak became even more pronounced.
oo
âWere you raped?â It immediately occurred to Forrest that he was being too blunt.
He hurriedly added, âI didnât mean that. I.. âNo, itâs not Like that.â Camila did not get angry. His words were harsh, but they were
also not far from the truth.
