Prescott
âI already told my Beta and Gam ma to prepare for the ceremony,â I muttered, looking at my stubborn father who had his stu pid reasons to hold this ceremony on full-moon night.
âThe auspicious ceremonies should be held on full-moon night, son,â he began again though I had refused him to believe those stu pid things that the chaplain said. âItâs necessary to follow his instructions. He wants only good for the pack and our ancestors also used to do every propitious work on full-moon night because of the blessings of the Moon Goddess.â
âItâs f ucking twenty-first century, Dad. For f uckâs sake, let me just get it done,â I raked a hand over my hair while Matilda lowered her head, probably feeling embarrassed that she had to listen to our arguments over a ceremony that was hers.
âThere is no way Iâm letting this happen tonight and thatâs my final decision,â he said, leaving no room for arguments.
âExcuse me,â she said, looking in between my father and me..
I tightened my grip on her waist but she glared at me before struggling to get rid of my hold so I let her go. The f u*king stubborn brat. She needed a lesson to learn to behave in public. My father didnât know about our contract marriage. I had lied to him that she had accepted me as her chosen mate and we were in love.
He being the tradition-followers will never let me marry someone with a contract. He still believed in the fated and mates buls hit. My Mom and he were chosen mates and he was so head over heels for her that even after her death, he didnât accept anyone else. as his chosen mate.
I wasnât emotional or superstitious like my father. I knew that sometimes we needed to get the business done either by h ook or crook. There were some specific things that I kept from my father, not because I was scared of him but because I didnât want to waste my time and energy fighting him.
âThere is no mark on the Princessâs n*eck yet,â Dad narrowed his eyes at me. âYou told me that you were chosen mates, Prescott. Why havenât you marked each other yet if youâre so in love?â
âShe was healing, Dad. You canât expect me to f u*k her when she is sick. Iâm not that cruel,â I co cked a brow at him.
He let out a wry chuckle. âAll the rumors about your cruelty are false,â he mocked me, âI wondered why she chose you when she could have any other Alpha. The poor girl

doesnât know what she has gotten herself into.â
âHer father has arranged her marriage with me so she was mine but staying in her f uking mateâs pack for a few years has taught her that she needs a strong Alpha and only Iâm capable of providing her the safety,â and revenge, which I kept to myself.
âI heard that you have caught the culprit who attacked our pack last time. Why do I hear things from other people always?â he crossed his arms and watched me keenly.
Shaking my head, I sighed. âThey know nothing, Dad. All the things that you hear from these st upid people arenât true,â I lied to him and left before he could investigate more. Thatâs why I lived in a separate apartment so he wouldnât nag me.
He didnât need to know about this creature and the ways we were dealing with him.
My gaze followed the crowd, finding my spoiled wife who was chatting with Serena. They both had gotten along and were friends which made Serena comfortable to ask her about my s*x drive and Matilda had a face as if she would throw her food out.
âSeems like someone has caught our Alphaâs interest,â Caleb taunted, walking beside me toward the ladies.
âYouâre the only person who knows about my contract so donât bluff and you out of all people donât give me that f u*king look,â I warned him and he raised his hands in defense.
Caleb and I grew up together, educated together, and trained together so we became best friends in our childhood. He was the only person who was aware of my darkest sins and everything about my life. I trusted him blindly because I knew that he was loyal to
me.
âJudging from your frustration about the Princessâs clause in the contract, I can see it in your eyes that you want her,â he smirked.
âI donât have to ask any woman to pleasure me so Iâm not lacking in that department,â I winked at him. We both had our fair share of fun that involved women and we still went to the human towns every weekend to visit the nightclubs.
âWomen are always throwing themselves on you but she is the only woman who has. been able to resist your charm and doesnât want you,â he pressed his l*ps into a thin line, stifling a smile.
He knew that he wasnât wrong about it. She had caught my attention but I wonât give in to it that easily.
âMatilda is not my type. She is just a stu pid and spoiled royal princess. I canât believe she got cheated by that as*hole mate of hers for years,â a scorching heat enveloped my

heart. âAnd on that, I want that ba st ard on the crowning ceremony.â
âHe will be found soon. Gam ma Jericho is finding him.â Caleb nodded his head and I looked at her back, swallowing hard. I couldnât deny that she was so se xy and beautiful.â Just the view of her bare back and I couldnât stop myself from touching her in the
bathroom.
Serena quivered as she felt my presence. Her eyes widened with shock when I grabbed Matildaâs waist from behind and laid my chin in the crook of her n*eck before giving her a peck on the cheek.
A shiver ran down her spine and her b*dy stiffened under my touch. I could hear her heart galloping in her chest which made me smirk.
âShe wonât be able to resist you for long.â Caleb remarked through the link, noticing her heartbeat.
âI will have to steal my wife from you for a moment, Serena,â I said, k*ssing her n*eck.
My wolf never reacted to any woman like that. The urge to mark her right there and right then was too strong to resist. My wolf was feeling hazy with lust, desperate to mark
her ours.
âShe is all yours, Alpha,â Serene replied immediately with a smile on her pale face.
âYes, she is mine,â I whispered into Matildaâs ear and she bit her l*p before clearing her throat, putting her hands on mine and forcing me to pull away.
Caleb mumbled, hitting on the nurse, âLet me serve you the dinner, Serena.â
âNo thanks, Beta. I can take it myself,â Serena frowned and left the spot. Caleb followed. her like a puppy.
âSeems like there is a girl who doesnât want you, I teased my best friend, enjoying their
banter.
âShe is mine. She just doesnât know yet,â he replied coc kily.
Serena was his neighbor whom he had a crush on since childhood but she wouldnât give. him any attention because she despised him for beating her ex-boyfriend.
âAh,â I groaned for her satisfaction, holding my stomach when she rammed her elbow into my midriff. I didnât even know why I cared so much about the girl who escaped from our marriage, disrespecting me.
Matilda turned and looked into my eyes with those blazing lilac orbs indignantly. âThis she-wolf has gotten claws and power to fight so be cautious of your actions,â she challenged me, a smirk playing on her l*ps.

She was behaving like a wild wolf who badly needed to be tamed. I had various ways to tame this fierce wife of mine and all of them included her crying in pleasure.
I seized her and forced her to walk along with me toward the table which was reserved. for us. The pack members watched us with curious eyes as we made our way to the table and feeling the center of the attention, she put a smile on her face.
The waiter who was standing beside the table bowed to me. I nodded my head in acknowledgement and he poured wine into two golden chalices and handed them to
us.
âLet me raise a toast,â I said while raising the chalice, âTo the most beautiful woman who is luckily my wife and your Luna. We will hold her Luna ceremony and our crown ceremony tomorrow as per your former Alphaâs belief for the full-moon magic.â I emphasized magic, looking at my Dad who was holding his glass of whiskey.
He rolled his eyes at my taunt but was glad that his wish was granted. He didnât know that I was waiting for my special guest to witness my wifeâs Luna ceremony.
On the night of the ceremonyâ¦.
The full moon was up in the sky and its silver light beamed down upon us. The air around us was filled with the fragrance of roses that were used as decor for the thrones. Matilda looked at me with expectant eyes to begin the ceremony as all the people were holding red wine in their hands to celebrate the occasion.
âI, Prescott White, Alpha of the Silver Claw pack, accept Matilda Spencer as my Luna
with a dagger.
and hereby declare her as my packâs Luna,â I said, slicing my p pencer as my Luna
âI, Matilda Spencer, Princess of the Blood Moon pack, pledge to fulfill the duty of the Luna of the Silver Claw pack and protect my people,â she took her oath with grace and. put the dagger on her palm.
When I moved my hand to shake my hand with hers so our blood would mix and a bond between us would be formed, a wolf ambushed me out of nowhere.
âNo, Gabriel,â a womanâs shriek made me look at Jericho who had held her as his captive.
âThanks for bringing my most awaited guest, I thanked my Gam ma. I wasnât surprised. by his attack. I had anticipated that Gabriel would try to attack me after knowing about. our marriage and ceremony.
