“I’m not in the mood for this Jade. Can’t you see? I don’t want to speak to you so kindly leave me in peace!”

“This wasn’t the deal Logan. Have you forgotten? Have you? When did we get married and why did we get married? I have been letting you act as you wanted for years but now that I know she’s back in your life, I’d advise you to start acting like my husband and the Alpha of the pack.”

I scoffed at Jade’s sentence. “Do you think I give a f uck? I already told you a million times and if you had the sense to comprehend, you’d have saved yourself from all of this but what am I even saying, you don’t even have shame!”

“Enough! Do not start why it is that you can’t finish because I’m promising you I would go as far as running her life!” She retorted.

“Excuse me? What have you done that you haven’t done Jade or do you think I don’t know what happened four years ago? Do you think Isabel is that sla ve you once had and could take advantage of? Have you seen her now? She’s a big woman now.” I remarked.

She let out a sarcastic laugh. “A big woman who’s about to crumble because her agent is in debt? Oh trust me a lot is coming her way and it would be even worse all because of you.”

“You don’t know anything, Logan. All I have ever done was love you. I wanted you. I cared for you and you knew it yet you chose hate omega over me. Why! Why!” She cried and I rolled my eyes at her fake tears.

She always cried but they were never real and that was the truth later learned that it was all a lie and nothing about her was the truth except the clothes that she was putting on.

“I never asked you to do that, did I? Everything you did was for you and yourself and that has nothing to do with me so you can’t put it on me. Save yourself this endless misery and leave me be.”

“That’s the last thing I’d do. I will never divorce you not when I know that you only want to get back to that lowlife!” She shouted.

“You are impossible.” I clicked my tongue, shaking my head in disbelief at her relentlessness.

“Impossible? I can even be worse if I don’t have you and that’s what you don’t know. It’s either you are mine or no one else and it’s not just a word. By the time I am done with Isabel, you will regret ever getting involved with her.” Jade swore.

I shouldn’t care about Isabel but that was impossible. After the discovery I made about her kids, I have been tormented by it. How could she move so fast? Why did she move so fast?

I couldn’t sleep. It hurts so much because while I struggled for years, she already moved on and she seemed happy too. She didn’t have just one kid but two.

I didn’t see the face of the boy but I saw the girl’s face and she was Isabel’s replica. I’m guessing the boy is older by a year because he looks bigger than the girl.

Isabel wasn’t married to that guy. It was evident but they had kids together. I wasn’t sure if the kids were his or not because if they were then why weren’t they living together?

Or maybe she had one with another man and one with him and the more I thought about that, the more betrayed I felt. I was hurt and for days I avoided her. I didn’t want to see her because it would only make me explode.

I decided to leave her be after all that’s what she had been asking of and so I went to terminate the contract. I didn’t even know what was going on with Leah Campbell because I’d been in my little world for days until Isabel mentioned it and still I didn’t have the full details.

It was after she left I did my little research and realized that they were at the edge of bankruptcy.

When I offered for Isabel to be my sex mate, I just wanted to take revenge on her. It hurts that she has already had kids with different fathers and so I decided to treat her the same way a woman with no value shouldn’t be.

That was an escape for me. That was like a revenge plan for me but I knew deep down that wasn’t it. I have missed her so much and missed her body. Her absence was driving me crazy and I was trying to toughen up.

It hurts so much to want a woman and not be able to have her. It hurts that I once had her and lost her and it’s more scary that I might not have her again.

“I will do whatever it takes for you to divorce me and I mean it,” said to Jade.

“And you won’t succeed because I’d do whatever it takes for you to never end up with Isabel.” She replied.

She both stared at each other as if it was a competition of who’d give up first. She walked away shortly and I sighed. I ran my finger through my hair in anger and frustration. If only I knew from the onset, maybe all of this now wouldn’t be a problem.

I called for my secretary.

“Yes sir.

“Where were you when Miss Payne came?” I asked.

“Ichn..I’m so sorry sir. I had to quickly use the restroom. I wasn’t expecting to take that long but I ended up doing so. I’m sorry for not being in my position.” He apologized.

“Alright. That aside. I want you to do something for me.”

“What can I do sir?” He asked.

“I want you to get me every information concerning Miss Payne and Tim. Including her kids, Alright?”

“Yes sir.” He said before walking away.

Shortly my beta came into my office. Raymond doesn’t look happy. For the past few weeks, he hasn’t been himself and I kept asking what was wrong with him but he doesn’t seem to say

I wasn’t sure if I should keep pressing or just let him tell me when he wanted to.

“What brings you here?” I asked, going back to sit on my chair.

“I am going crazy and I don’t think I’d be fine at all.” He uttered.

“What do you mean?”

“That girl. She’s invading my senses and driving me crazy. No matter how hard I tried to think about it, I just can’t get her out of my head and mind.”

I creased my eyebrows in confusion. “What do you mean?”

“What girl? I thought you said everything was fine so what girl?” asked inquisitively.

“I don’t know what’s happening. I don’t even know if she’s a witch. I saw her the other day and she denied being the girl. She said her name is Adeline and not what I thought to be her name

I was confused. I didn’t know what he was talking about.

“Do you realize you stepped into my office and are talking about something I have no idea about? Would you tell me what it is that I need to know or would you keep speaking in riddles? If you keep speaking in riddles, I doubt I’d be able to help you.” I explained.

“You remember the night we went to that club you have a business meeting at?” He asked and I nodded my head in

response.

“I saw her the other day and she denied being that girl. She denied it and I was sure she was the one. That was b adas s of her. It’s either she doesn’t have sex with the same person twice or she regretted that day and it would kill me if she did.”

I didn’t know what to say. I have listened to him and I had no idea who he was talking to I don’t know if what he was getting himself into was a good idea or not.

“You know what?”

“How about we drink tonight? It’s been a long we had fun together. We are both stressed and I have a lot to tell you. Trust me you’d be just as surprised as I am.” I told him.

“Isabel has two kids. She has children already.” I revealed.

I was surprised that he didn’t react the way that I expected him to.

“Kids? What do you mean kids? How old are they? Did you see them with her or did you misunderstand?” He asked.

They are hers and I saw the little girl’s face. She looked just like Isabel and I think she’s like three years because she also has a son who I’m guessing will be like four years but I’m not even sure.” I sighed.

“Kids” He seemed to be in deep thought, making me wary.

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“Do you know something that I don’t?” I asked.

“It couldn’t be, could it?” He uttered.

“What do you mean? Will you speak up and stop making me worried?”

“I don’t know. I’m not sure. I can’t say.” He replied.

“What do you mean by that? Speak up. Ray. What

is it that you know that I don’t know?” I demanded.

“She denied it. She said I saw it wrong. Four years ago. I saw Isabel before she finally left. I thought she might be pregnant because I saw her coming from the hospital and not just from anywhere but it seemed she had gone for checkups. I did a little digging and was told she was pregnant but she denied it. She said they might have confused her for another.”

The words of Raymond left me in shock.
