ISABEL POINT OF VIEW

“Why are we here?” I asked when I saw that he brought me to his company.

“Is this where we are supposed to have a meeting or whatever it was that we were supposed to?” I asked.

“You agreed to my deal, didn’t you? Then you should be patient will eventually tell you where it is that we are going to but first I have something that I have to do. So you can either can with me or just sit here and keep yourself bored but I cannot assure you when I’d come back,” he stated.

I scrutinized him. I felt like he deliberately said his last word. If I decided to stay here and let him go then he’d deliberately stay up there so as for me to get angry and either way, I’d end up going to find him.

“Alright then.” I sighed, getting out of the car.

“You might want to take gentle steps and don’t fall, don’t you think?”

“I don’t have the whole day in the world so if we want to do something, then it’s best we start now and get it possible, don’t you think?”

He smiled.

“I didn’t say anything worthy of making you smile, don’t you think?” I scoffed.

“You don’t have to say anything. Staring at you alone is worthy to make me smile. Standing in the same spot as you make me smile. Your presence makes me smile.”

I blushed. I shouldn’t be doing that but I couldn’t help it. I scoffed instead, trying to mask my true expression.

“Besides you have the whole time. I mean what else do you have to do today? You said so yourself so why are you changing your words? You hurt my feelings you know. Every time you say something different from what you say, you indirectly tell me you can’t stand my presence.” He feigned hurt and I rolled my eyes at him.

We reached the elevator. The door opened, and we both walked in.

I folded my arms across my chest as I looked forward to us reaching our designation but instead, I felt a presence behind me, towering my small frame.

“What are you doing?” I asked, my voice breaking while speaking.

“I’ve missed your smell.” I felt him take in my presence, moving much closer to me than he was before.

“What are y you doing?” I asked, feeling nervous from his proximity.

I felt his fingers on my arms. I swallowed the invisible lump that formed in my throat. “Why don’t you just..” I turned that moment to tell him to give me some space but ended up not doing so.

The moment I turned, I met him. Our eyes met and I got lost in those beautiful eyes of his. He was close. His presence radiated heat. I felt goosebumps on my skin at that moment.

“You drive me insane Isabel,” he uttered in a raspy tone and I felt a jolt of electricity run down my spine.

He trailed his index finger on my bottom lips. “F uck. I want to kiss you so badly.”

Chapter 31

Then kiss me. My inner self said but thankfully I didn’t say that out loud.

“Just say yes and I will kiss you. Please save yes,” he bored into my eyes as he requested that I let him kiss him.

I felt my mouth go dry and it got worse when my eyes fell on his lips.

“Please. I want to kiss you so badly that it’s driving me crazy. If only you know how hard it is for me to hold myself.” He cupped my face, leaning closer.

My head was screaming for me to refuse him and my heart wanted me to let him to. I wanted to kiss him, to taste him once again, and before I could finish all of that, he claimed my lips.

My eyes involuntarily closed as he kissed me. I felt a jolt of electricity run down my spine from the kiss. He tasted so nice and sweet and I loved it.

He pulled me closer to him and I moaned into the kiss. He shoved his tongue into mine as he deepened the kiss. Soon he began to move faster and I had to catch up, holding onto him firmly to kiss him properly too.

“Da mn, you drive me insane,” he said in between kisses.

I moaned as we kissed. He ran his hand from niy waist to my hips, sending shivers down my spine. I felt his hand touch the hem of my skirt and slowly he began to pull my skirt up. His finger grazed my skin and I shuddered.

It was starting to get intense. Every moment in that kiss ignited a new start in me. I felt hot. A pool of heat formed in between my legs. I felt my knees weaken from the intensity of the kiss. I was completely immersed in it. I didn’t think of anything and my mind was void. All I cared about was the kiss.

He pulled back shortly in need of air but that didn’t stop him from kissing me. He trailed kissing from my neck to my shoulder, biting and nibbling on it. It was intense. I let out moans from my mouth.

I wanted more. I pushed myself towards him, wanting him to touch me. I didn’t want to miss his presence and I wanted more from him. Just then, the sound of the elevator door interrupted the moment.

The door opened and he pulled back from me. We were both heavily panting. A dull feeling formed in the pit of my stomach and just then I realized what had just happened and I enjoyed every bit of it.
