LOGAN

“Sir, you have a visitor.”

“A visitor?” I asked.

“Yes. She said she’s your wife,” Dan informed me.

When I heard that, I clenched my fist in anger. It better be a joke or else I might just snap.

“My wife! You mean an average-height woman with blonde hair?” I asked wanting to confirm that she was the one he was referring to

“Yes sir.” He nodded his head.

I walked past him and made my way into my hotel room. Jade has also found a way to come over here after I left my house for her. It’s evident that she wants to make me angry and she’d get what she wants.

“Welcome home baby!” Jade opened her arms wide as she stood up to come to me.

“What the f uck are you doing here?” I asked through my teeth.

“Oh come on. You left him and thought you could run away from me? You know that’s impossible though.” She replied, smiling proudly.

“F uck you, Jade. Now f uck out of the place before I do something you’d regret,” I warned.

“And you think I’m scared? Oh please. You acting that way doesnt make me scared but instead.” she trailed off walking closer to me with a proud smile on her face.

“Instead I find it hot.” She bit on her lips afterward.

“You are insane. You are insane! You don’t know that you are insane and I’d make sure to send you to a psychiatric ward.” I told her.

She let out a hysterical laugh. “Oh come on. That’s so hot coming from you. So what are you doing here when you should be home with me?” She batted her eyebrows, making me frown.

“Jade. I’m not going to say it again. F ucking leave.” I warned again.

“I’m sorry, I can’t do that. You are my husband. I am your wife and we are both going to stay in the same place. Whenever you go, I will go and whenever you are, there id be.” She stated firmly

I decided not to say anything to her because it was a waste of breath. I walked towards her, picked her up from her knee, and placed her on my shoulder so that I could drop her outside.

“Let go of me! What are you doing!” She tried to get off my grip but sadly she wasn’t dealing with an ordinary person so she wouldn’t be able to escape.

“Let me go. Logan. This isn’t fair. Let me go!” She struggled. As soon as I reached outside of my apartment, I put her down and closed the door immediately.

I wondered how she got to enter my apartment without a key unless someone gave it to her and I’d make sure to deal with whoever it was that gave her access to my apartment.

Chapter 47

I heard her knock on the door and scream but I paid no attention to them. The place where I came to obtain peace has finally been revealed.

Now is the right time to teach her a lesson. It’s time I pay a visit to her father.

I dialed a number on my phone.

“Alpha Logan. How can I be at your service?”

“I have a job for you,” I said.

Later that evening, my phone rang while I was listening to music

“We have done as you’ve asked Alpha. He informed me.

I ended the call, got off from where I was seated, and decided to visit him.

I arrived at the location shortly.

Welcome Alpha. We have been expecting you.

I nodded my head in response as I made my way into the room,

I couldn’t bear the sounds.

“I will make you all pay. Do you know who I am? I will make sure that you and whoever hired you regret ever coming for me!” Jade’s father shouted.

“And how do you plan to do so?” I asked, revealing myself before him.

“You…” he sounded surprised and I smiled in satisfaction.

I have always wanted to do this. I have always wanted to hurt him, to come for him and make him feel just exactly what he does to others and although it took me this long to do the needful. I’d finally do it today.

“Logan?” He called out

“How have you been? I trust you have been good but guess what Those days are coming to an end.

“What are you doing? Do you know what you are doing?”

“Oh, there won’t be no long talk. I simply cannot afford to have long conversation but there’s one thing I’d tell you and that’s you’d be tortured to almost death and your daughter too is likely to join.” I smile at him.

1 am happy felt this for a long time and this made me so excited wished I had suddenly done this as soon as I had then maybe I’d be in a better place now.

“You are wrong! Do you think you’d get away with this? Is this what you meant the other time at your office? Do you event know what you are doing? You will regret it! I promise you that you will regret it! Let me go this instance or…”

“Or what?” I cut him off.

“Or what? You would do what? What is it that you haven’t done yet? I mean you have always done your worst without caring about the repercussions as long as it favors your daughter and you so how does it feel now to be chained to a chair and kept seated?” I snarled at him.

He groaned in an attempt to attack me. “You are a piece of s hit! I’ve always known you were annoying but I never thought you’d do this. You’d regret it. You’d regret ever starting this war against me because I can assure you something and that is, I never lose.” He sounded confident.

“Oh wow. War? I like the sound of that. Do you think I’m scared of you? Just who the f uck do you think you are? You won’t be leaving this place and I’d love to see what it is that you can do to me because you are going to end up rotting in here and as for your daughter..” I trailed off, adjusting my sult while building up tension to make him curious.

“Don’t worry. I will be sure to keep you updated but for now, you will enjoy this dark space with little or no water and that’s if I have enough mercy to grant you that.”

“F uck you. Logan! I will make you pay. The minute I leave this place, I will make sure that you pay!” He yelled.

1 let out a sarcastic laugh. “Pay? And who told you that you will be leaving this place? I’d love to see how you do that.”

“You won’t be leaving this place because I won’t allow it. Your daughter will suffer the same fate too. For years all the both of you have done is bring pain in my life as long as you both seek it fit. You have both forced yourself into my life and tortured me emotionally and for that, I will make sure you both suffer, emotionally, physically, and m ntally.”

For every word I said. I made emphasis so he knew just how much I meant my words and I wasn’t just saying it.

I don’t give a f uck if he dies but if make sure to torture him and his daughter most painfully so that they never try it again in

their next life.

“Don’t you dare touch my daughter?”

“And what will you do if I do?” I questioned.

“You wouldn’t dare. Don’t you dare touch my Jade because the moment you do, you’ll regret it. I’d make you regret it and it’s not just words, I mean it.”

“And you think I’m scared? And how are you going to make me regret it? You have been saying a lot of words but how are you going to get them done? You won’t be leaving this place or did you think I was kidding?” I growled.

“I have gone through a lot because you always had to do something behind the scenes. I will make you pay. You wo seeing your daughter for a long time and for her, I’m just getting started with her. You will both pay.” I told him.

“If you touch my daughter, I will make you pay. You can do whatever it is that you want with me but make sure that don’t touch my daughter.” He said.

“I will think about that. At the end of the day, I will be the one to determine what happens next, don’t you think? So whatever it is that I’want to do, I will do it. With that said, I’d leave you in the hands of my men. Be ready to get tortured for your daughter. You’d get news soon.”

After I said that, I turned to leave.

“Don’t touch my touch! Don’t touch my Jade! Leave my daughter alone! I’m warning you!”

I didn’t turn to look at him or answer him. I have said all that I have to say to him and that was it.

“Make sure to give him water once a day and if he talks too much, you know what to do right?” I instructed

“Yes, Alpha. I will do the needful.” He replied.

I adjusted my suit jacket before leaving the place believing my men to do the needful.
