I kissed Sean! I cannot believe it. I haven’t been able to believe it. It doesn’t seem real to me. I kissed Sean or rather he kissed me and 1 kissed him back.

It was the best moment of my life and I haven’t been able to get over it. It’s still playing in my head over and over again.

Who would have thought that just as I wanted my 17th birthday to go, it would go exactly that way? Who would have thought

“It’s nothing.” I lied to my mom, sounding casual.

“Are you sure? I mean I want to know what makes my child so happy this morning. I always like to share your victories you know,”

She stated.

“You will know when there’s something to share,” I said.

“Alright then. Since that’s it then I look forward to hearing what you have to share. Come have breakfast,” my mom said.

Just when my dad and Ethan arrived at the dining table. Mom served the food and we began to eat.

“Princess you must be having a good day. Don’t get me wrong I love to see you happy but what’s happening?” My dad stated and I me ntally sighed as I hadn’t realized that I was giving away that something happened on my birthday.

“That’s how my face is,” I replied.

“I know you’ve always been a happy child but today seems like there’s something you are holding back. Do you want to share? Dad asked.

“I stated that earlier but she wouldn’t share. She said it’s nothing and she’s just like herself every day but she doesn’t see herself, Mom spoke up.

“Maybe she finally got herself a boyfriend,” Ethan remarked castilly and I glared at him.

“What? I was just kidding.” He replied raising his arms in the air in surrender.

“Oh don’t play with your sister like that,” Mom said to Ethan.

“I am fine. I just woke up happy and I don’t think it should be a topic I’m all smile, should it be?” I started and everyone

My parent’s love makes me want to experience one of my own. Dad adores more and mom adores dad. They don’t fail to show how much they love each other. They understand each other and complement each other.

Mom cannot do without dad and dad cannot do without mom and their relationship is the reason I look forward to having mine. They have the most beautiful relationship in the world and I’m glad to have them both as my parents.

I then thought about Sean and how I had no idea what I’d say to him when we saw each other on Monday I’m school. I wanted him to come speak to me first.

I expected him to text me but he didn’t I wanted to text him but I wasn’t bold enough to want to start the conversation so I decided to relax and wait for him to take the first love although I was tempted to

“Hey, pretty girl. You look happy and different this morning. You must be feeling good which I’m happy about so do you want to share? Lola asked as she ambushed me in front of my locker.

“Okay. You caught me but I’m not ready to share yet not until things are official so do me a favor and give me some time. okay?” I said to her.

“I was right! Something did happen and you don’t have to worry Something good is going to happen. I cannot wait for all the juicy tea later so I’m seated for it!” She squealed in excitement.

“Alright. Let me get my book so we can go to class. We don’t want to be late.” I said to her before getting my books and we both walked to class.

All through my first class, I barely paid any attention. I was focused on my thoughts as I wanted to see Sean and speak to him. I couldn’t wait for us to have the conversation we were supposed to have before Ethan and his big head came to interrupt.

The bell rang and with excitement, I exited the classroom.

“You might want to be easy with your step so you don’t end up filling you know,” Lola nudged my arms and I smiled.

“You still have like two more hours before you see him so relax and try to be chilled about it so you don’t end up messing things up,” she remarked.

“I want to stay calm Lola. Trust me but it’s not as easy as it seems. I waited all weekend to speak to him. I want to see him. I want to see his face and I want to kiss….” I trailed off when I realized that I was about to expose myself.

“Oh my goodness!” Lola gasped.

I’m honestly not surprised by this but the both of you kissed? Wow!” She uttered and I quickly placed my palm on my mouth preventing her from speaking anymore.

I was all smiles all through as I waited for the day to go fast so I could finally see Sean and speak to him. It was all going well until I bumped into Darcy and Serena.

“How do you have eyes and you cannot see?” Serena chided as we bumped into each other.

“I didn’t know that you were coming. I’m sorry,” I apologized not wanting to engage them and because I was in a good mood and I didn’t want it to be ruined.

“Of course, you’d say that when you didn’t look where it was you were going to and for your sidekick here, how come she also didn’t look too? Both of you are blind and stu pid!” She insulted.

I furrowed my brows in confusion as I didn’t know why she was reacting that way. It wasn’t like I deliberately bumped into her and if I knew that she was coming, I’d have made sure to avoid her.

“Do you always have to resolve to insult and fight?” I asked.

She scoffed. “Oh please. Do you think that I want to waste my time on someone like you? I wouldn’t be speaking to you if you used your eyes properly. You didn’t and now you expect me to let you go? Oh please.

“She thinks her brother is here to save her now. Next time look at the direction you are going to. I’m only letting you go because of my boyfriend Ethan,” Darcy spoke

I furrowed my brows in confusion. Ethan her boyfriend and what is she even saying?

“You both are ridiculous. Do you both think I give a f uck about either of you?” I hated to curse but they pushed me to do so and I just had to do so because I was tired of them always wanting to speak when they should just let it go sometimes

“That would be you and your sidekick.” Darcy spat out.

“Lola is not your sidekick kick and don’t speak to her like that!” scolded.

“Don’t get me angry. You are both ridiculous to think that you can speak to anyone as you want and what’s your problem? Do you both always have to act stu pid all the time? Don’t you get tired because trust me when I say I’m tired!”

“Wow! It seems you’ve gotten some teeth to bite because you suddenly know how to talk and now you have a sidekick you want to defend her too. You might as well be careful,” Serena said.

“And why should I be careful? Also, who should I be careful of? The both of you?” I scoffed.

“Oh don’t be delusional. Not everyone is going to act as crazy as the both of you so I’m going to say this for the last time.” I moved closer to them wanting them to hear me as I wanted to say something

“Don’t you both ever act this way to me or my friend ever again. I apologized, didn’t I? The next time you try this, I promise to make you regret all of your actions and I’m not even kidding. Let this be the last time you get on my nerves or else I will make sure you eat your words,” I warned.

They were born surprised by my words as I made sure to say my words one after the other. I wanted them to hear me clearly because I wasn’t stuttering.

“Unbelievable,” Darcy muttered.

I love how speechless I made them. With that said, I walked away with Lola by my side.

you shut them down. You are bada ss. I cannot believe this and where has this part of you been since?” Lola remarked in surprise and it only made me proud.

I’m glad I did that. I refuse to let them ruin my day.
