“Where is Isabel?” I asked one of my maids.

“She went back home, but she should be here a minute soon,” the maid replied.

It has been two months since Isabel became my mate. We’ve been getting to know each other, and I fall in love with her. every day. Since we were both going to get married, I asked for her to move into one of the rooms in the palace but she wasn’t pleased by the idea because my father, the Alpha king was yet to approve of her.

I was showering when I heard the sound of my door open. Before I couldn’t turn to see who it was that entered the bathroom, I felt an arm around me.

“Isabel?” I called, more like a question before realizing that she wasn’t the one. I’ve married Isabel, so I know her smell.

I pulled the arms around me and turned to see Jade, who had a smile on her face, and 1 frowned.

“What are you doing here, and who let you in?” I questioned, pissed that she had intruded.

She was standing in front of me naked, and she had a smile on her face. I decided to look behind her head because 1 refused to look at her nakedness.

How dare she come into my room naked and think I’d appreciate it or be moved by what she decides to show me? Hasn’t she got no shame? I thought to myself, irritated and pissed by her disrespect, but what was I to expect from her.

“Fm going to be your wife soon, so who would refuse me from coming in?” She replied.

“I have a mate, and you aren’t going to be my wife. Do not let this repeat itself. Leave,” I stated sternly.

“A mate?” She scoffed.

“Oh, come on. That omega can’t and won’t ever be married to you. She’s the weakest of all omega, and she is a slave. You are the prince of this pack and soon–to–be Alpha There is no way you’d ruin the royal bloodline by getting married to someone as worthless as her,” she commented.

“Enough” I reprimanded.

“The woman you just described is my woman and the soon–to–be Luna once I become Alpha,” I retorted.

“Luna? And you think your father will agree to that. He already refused her for you. She can’t be yours. I am the one for you, Logan, can you see?” She said, moving closer to me.

I took a step back. “I won’t ever be with you. I never liked your talk of love and I never saw myself with you. I Love Isabel and she’s the one the moon goddess has given to me. Regardless of her status, I will still choose her, I declared.

“You will never be with her. I am the one for you and you should start accepting it because that’s just it. I have always loved. you, Logan. At least look at me. I’m worth everything while that slave is not. I’m a strong and royal She–wolf and she’s not. Just what does she have that I don’t have?” She asked.

“She has everything that I want and you don’t so leave,” I demanded.

“Leave Jade, I cut her off.

She opened her mouth to say something but close it back.

“Mark my words,Prince Logan. i will be the one you’d end up with and not her and it’s not just a statement but a fact,” she uttered before walking out of the bathroom.

I heaved a sigh of relief Jade and I grew up together and I knew of her crush on me but I’ve never seen her that way. She used to be a sweet girl but she became something else the few years I was away.

I’walked out of the bathroom shortly to see Isabel and Jade staring at each other.

While Jade glared at Isabel, Isabel seemed confused. When her eyes met wine, all I could see was ddisappointment

Jade turned to look at me that moment. She smirked before looking back at Isabel. “You must have lost your manners since you became Prince Logan, mate, but should I remind you of your status?”

“You are nothing but a slave yet you come into his royal higness room without knocking? How dare you?” Jade chided

“Enougu Jade,” I shunned her.

“Get yourself dressed and leave Jade, I ordered sternly.

I watched as tears formed in IsabIsabel’ss. She must have misunderstood, and now I have to clarify to her that nothing happened.

Jade left the room after putting on her dress leaving Isabel and I inmean awkward situation.

Isabel turned to leave that moment and I went after her, holding her by her arms and preventing her from leaving.

“It’s not what you think it is, I explained to her.

“She was naked and she canecame from your bathroom so what more is there to it?” She remarked, looking away from me.

I sighed deeply. “She just came. I didn’t know how. I asked she left and that’s why you saw her that way. I swear I didn’t glance at her,” I assured her.

“I already told you that you are the one I want. I don’t see Jade that way and you are my mine,” I tried to get her to look at

“I vow to you now and with the moon goddess bearing witness. I will love you and I will protect you. I will be with you no matter what. I will never leave you neither will I break your heart and this is a promise.”

Tears blurred in her eyes and I kissed her forehead. “Do not worry about anyone. Focus on me and leave the rest to me,” I said to her.

She nodded her head with a smile and leaned down to place a sweet kiss on her lips
