Chapter 108
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
Chapter: 109
Kristina paid attention to what he was saying, she immediately understood what he was teaching.
Carlos put his book down on the desk and said, âGood job, Kristina. You may go back to your seat now.
Kasie and Debbie, I want to see the both of you in my office after the class. This is a very important
topic for your final exams. Iâll try and discuss it with you two alone until you can fully grasp the
concepts.â
The rest of the students were shocked by what Carlos had said.
Carlos will teach them alone?!â How they wished they could have the opportunity to spend some time
with him alone!
90% of the girls were envious of Debbie and Kasie because they also wanted to spend time alone with
Carlos. As for the rest, they were straight-A students and wanted to be instructed by him, because he
was a really good teacher.
What happened next was beyond Kasieâs imagination. Excited, she held
Debbieâs arm and entered Carlosâ office, but was dismissed by him immediately.
âKasie, youâve listened to me carefully. So thereâs no need for you to stay here. You may take your
leave now,â Carlos said with a friendly smile.
Still in a trance, Kasie nodded and said, âOkay.â
She turned around and left the office obediently, as if she were hypnotized by him. Soon after, the
sound of the closing door coming from behind her brought her back to her senses.
âBut I didnât Listen to a single thing he said in class! Whatâs more,
Debbieâs still in thereâ¦â
At this moment, Tristan, Carlosâ assistant, walked up to Kasie. Pushing up his glasses, he smiled, âIf
you donât have anything else to report, you may go back to class now.â
âBut Debbie is still in there,â she answered anxiously.
âI believe it will be good for your friend to be taught by Carlos alone.â Tristan was simply implying that
Carlos wouldnât be too happy if Kasie knocked on his office door now.
Kasie was not witless and she understood his point immediately. Despite her fear of Carlos, her
concern for her friend prevailed. Thinking about the conflicts between Debbie and Carlos, she asked,
âWill Carlos do something to Debbie?â
Tristan was amused by Kasieâs question, but he tried his best to maintain a serious face. âFirst of all,
Carlos is a gentleman who will not force women to do anything they donât want. Second, Debbie is his
wife. It wouldnât be inappropriate if they did end up doing something,
âhe thought to himself.
âDonât worry. What Carlos is doing is for
Debbieâs own good,â he reassured Kasie.
Tristan didnât know what his boss would do to Debbie, but he knew it would do him best to stay away
from their matters.
Kasie, however, still felt worried about her friend, for she remembered what Kristina had told her before
â Carlos intended to bury Debbie alive the Last time.
âHow about I get in and stay with Debbie? I swear
Iâll just sit there and Listen to Carlos. I wonât make any noise,â she pleaded.
Tristan shook his head and thought, âIf I let you in, Carlos will be angry with me. I donât want to be
punished by him. I should take warning from Emmettâs example.â He cleared his throat and said,
âKasie,
