While Frankie was checking them in, the lobby manager took Carlos,

Debbie and Tess to the Presidential Suite upstairs.

“I’m in a hotel on Riverside Road. Room 1806. Come over now. Bye.”

“Who was that?” asked Carlos.

“Niles,” Debbie replied.

“What’s he coming here for?”

“Mr. and Mrs. Hilton, I think I better go.” Tess’ heart was hammering nervously in her chest.

Debbie shook her head and gestured for Tess to sit on the couch. She opened the freezer, took out a

lot of the beverages, and told Tess,

“Relax. Have a drink. Then take a shower and get ready to sleep with my husband. Oh, don’t worry.

He’s very good.”

Tess wanted to cry out loud.

Carlos pulled Debbie into his arms and apologized, “Honey, could you please forgive me? I shouldn’t
