Chapter 1550
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
Wesley felt guilty when he heard her remarks. Eventually, he helped her get up grudgingly.
Blair sat on the edge of the bed for a while.
âWhereâs my friend?â she asked.
âShe went back to her class.â Since Blair seemed fine, Wesley stood up from the chair to leave.
Blair wasnât going to miss such a good opportunity to be alone with him.
When he turned to leave, she Lay back on the bed and whined, âOh, my head. I feel so dizzy.â
Wesley turned around to look at her.
âIâll go get the doctor.â
Before he could leave, Blair grabbed his hand. The calluses on his palm made her heart ache. She
could imagine how much effort he had put into being a good soldier.
âI donât need a doctor. I want to go home and rest.â
Her gentle touch sent his heart racing. As if an electric shock had passed through him, he quickly
withdrew his hand. He couldnât even look her in the eye. Instead, he averted his gaze to the empty drip
bottle and said in a cold tone, âThen, go home.â
âBut Iâm too feeble to walk.â
âLL have someone drive you home
Angelaâs Library
âBut weâre neighbors. Nobody lives closer to me than you do.â
Obviously, she was saying that if someone had to take her home, it should be him.
Perhaps, he didnât get her point. He replied, âIâll not buy an apartment so close to yours ever again.â
Blair thought, âDo you have to be so insulting?â
After a long sigh, she asked, âCan you give me a lift?â
âI have to go someplace else later.â
âYou can go there after taking me home.â
Wesley was annoyed. He had never met a woman as troublesome as Blair.
âGet up!â he ordered harshly.
Blair sat up on the bed.
The next thing she knew, he grabbed her wrist and dragged her off the bed.
âOw! Youâre hurting me!â she cried out.
