Chapter 1588
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
Still, Wesley said nothing. With a broken heart, Blair closed the sliding door and went back to her
bedroom.
She took out her clothes from her wardrobe and put them on the bed.
Then, she took off her pajamas.
âAaah!â
A shriek came from the bedroom. Stubbing out the cigarette, Wesley rushed into her room at full
speed.
Bang! He pushed the door open and asked, âWhat ha-â
With the help of his flashlight, Wesley located Blair easily. She had her back against the closet, her
upper body completely naked. He immediately Looked away.
Blair grabbed a dress to cover her chest and stammered in a shaking voice, âIâ¦I saw someoneâ¦â
âWhere?â Wesleyâs eyes swept across the bedroom, but he didnât see anything suspicious.
âOn the balcony.â Blair pointed to the balcony of her bedroom. The curtains were open.
âOn the balcony? This is the sixteenth floor!â Wesley found it hard to believe.
When he walked to the balcony to check the situation, Blair put on her dress quickly. She was so
frightened that she leaned against the wardrobe again, her body shaking.
At that moment, a shadow flashed on the balcony. Blair shrieked again and yelled, âThatâs him!â
Wesley saw the shadow too and realized what was going on.
Angelaâs Library
âCome here!â he called out.
Blair wanted to turn him down, but on second thoughts, Wesley was there and would protect her. So,
she went over to him.
Wesley pointed to a building with multi-colored lights in the distance.
âSee that? There is a Light show at this hour every night. You didnât know?â he asked.
Blair nodded.
âI know. But the Light show has nothing to do withââ
The Light shot towards them again, the shadow of which looked exactly like a manâs figure.
âOh! It was just a shadow from the light show!â Blair thought to herself.
Embarrassed, she tried to explain to him, âUsually, the moment I get home, I turn on the lights. So, Iâve
never seen this before. Please donât get me wrong.â
She was telling the truth. Every time she entered her bedroom, she would turn on the lights and close
the curtains. It was the first time that the electricity of her apartment had been cut off.
Wesley looked at the girl before him and raised her chin to force her to look into his eyes.
