Chapter 1611
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
âI left something here. I came to get it,â she said as soon as he opened the door, hurrying towards the
kitchen.
She was relieved when she saw the bag was still in the cabinet. On the other hand, she wondered if
she should just give him the present.
And how exactly was she supposed to do that? As a friend? As his girlfriend? If he asked why, what
would she tell him?
Would it be awkward if she just handed it to him?
Wesley stood at the door of the kitchen with his arms crossed over his chest. The expression on her
face kept changing. He could tell that something was on her mind.
âWhatâs in it? You look conspiratorial.â
Unable to make up her mind, she felt frustrated. In the end, she took the bag out of the cabinet and
handed it to Wesley.

âI saw it last time when I was shopping. I thought it suited you, so I bought it. I havenât found an
opportunity to give it to you until today.â
Wesley took the bag and opened it. Inside was a black embroidered box containing a lighter.
He tried the lighter. A flame whooshed out, about as tall as the lighter itself.
âLooks expensive.â Wesley smiled, extinguished the flames and put the lighter back into the box.
âShe isnât rich. Then how did she afford it?â he thought.
Blair shook her head and said, âItâs okay. I bought it with my own money. I hope you like it.â
Wesley put the box into the bag and handed it to her.
âReturn it.
Youâre a student. You shouldnât have bought something so expensive.
âBut I already paid for it.â Blair didnât take the bag. âIs he rejecting me?â
Wesley stuffed the bag into her arms and walked out of the kitchen.
âThen give it to your uncle.â Adalson also smoked.
Blairâs heart broke into little pieces.
She had been so excited to give it to him. At this moment, her heart was filled with disappointment.
After glancing at the bag in her hands, she asked, âYou really hate me, donât you?â
When Wesley heard what Blair said, he suddenly stopped in his tracks, paralyzed by her words.
âNo, I donât,â he replied.
Blair wouldnât Let the matter drop. She hurried over to him and asked,
âThen why wonât you take my gift?â
