Chapter 1671
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
Wesley buried his face in the bowl to hide his sour expression. âIt turns out that she has such a high
opinion of Niles. Then why did she send me that message the day the flood erupted in the village?â
Cecelia had scarcely heard anyone else praise Niles for being thoughtful before. Now that Blair was
saying so, she thought it must be because Niles had always taken good care of Blair.
âThatâs good to hear. You stay here as long as you like. When Niles isnât around, you can call Wesley if
you need anything. We are going to be a family in the future. Donât be a stranger.â
âOh, okay, Aunt Cecelia.â âAs long as I can reach Wesley, I wonât call
Angelaâs Library
Niles.â
When the dinner was almost over, Cecelia went to the kitchen. Blair kicked Wesley again. He looked at
her, confused.
Blair glared at him.
âHow can you still be eating? Your mom has misunderstood everything. Canât you see it?â
âMisunderstood what?â He really was completely oblivious.
Blair was about to explode. She tried her best not to raise her voice as she asked, âWho do I Like?â
Wesley thought about it for a minute and then replied, âNow? Iâd say you like Niles.â He thought that the
only explanation for her being with Niles was that she was over him and had now fallen for Niles.
Blair felt that he was driving her crazy.
âDoes Niles know that you are pregnant?â Wesley asked her.
âWesley! Youâre such aâ¦â Blair felt like cursing, but eventually she dropped it.
She had to, anyway, because Cecelia was walking out of the kitchen, carrying a fruit platter. She put
the plate in the middle of the table.
Blair widened her eyes when she saw the fruit slices. The fruit had been sliced so badly that it
reminded her of the terrible platter
Wesley had made the day Talbot had gone to her apartment to cook.
Besides the resemblance in appearance, Blair now could see another piece of proof that Cecelia and
Wesley were mother and son- their bad cutting skills.
âEat fast and then go to sleep early. I am going shopping tomorrow and
I would like you to come with me. I want to buy some shoes and clothes for Blair, and I need your
opinion,â Cecelia told Wesley.
âI hate shopping,â Wesley declared. âGoing shopping with two women.
That doesnât sound fun, â he thought.
Cecelia rolled her eyes at him.
âI wouldnât have asked you to tag along if Niles were here. Since heâs not here, it falls on you to take
care of us.â
Blair screamed inwardly, âAunt Cecelia, can you just listen to me? Iâm not Nilesâ girlfriend, and Wesley
is not going to be my brother-in-law. â
