Chapter 1693
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
It seemed that the young man had figured out exactly what he wanted.
âWhat do you want?â Keith asked outright.
âHow about a new apartment? Iâll feel much better,â Niles suggested.
He could make a fortune by conning his grandpa.
âA new apartment? Why? Didnât your mom buy you one already?â
âYeah, but Blair is living there now. Since Iâve decided to back off and let Wesley have Blair, I canât live
with her. Thatâs not appropriate. She has no parents. Iâm not going to kick her out, either,â Niles said,
pretending to be virtuous and upstanding.
âOkay! Deal!â the old man announced. The poor grandfather was completely taken in by his grandson.
Eventually, he would find out
Angelaâs Library
Blair had always loved Wesley, and that Niles had never dated her.
After hanging up the phone, Niles felt like he was on cloud nine. His gloomy mood, caused by Ceceliaâs
tongue-lashing, vanished into thin air.
Meanwhile, in the Shining International Plaza, Cecelia, Wesley and
Blair moved on to a new store. Now they were shopping for shoes. They had no idea that Niles lied to
the old man. Sitting on the sofa, Blair tugged at the hem of Wesleyâs shirt and said, âDonât Let your
mom buy anything for me again. Iâm not dating you or Niles. Tell her. Donât spend money on me.â
Wesley replied indifferently, âSheâs rich
Blair was speechless. That was not the point.
Cecelia asked a saleslady to show a pair of shoes to Blair.
âBlair, try these on. They look good.â
Blair didnât budge.
âAunt Cecelia, Iâve tried on three pairs. I think itâs your turn.â
âThatâs not for women my age. Itâs for young girls. Besides, the pink matches the last outfit you tried
on.â
Blair found it hard to resist Ceceliaâs enthusiasm.
She looked at Wesley, signaling to him for help. He sat next to her and echoed his motherâs words.
âMomâs right. They Look nice. Try them on.â
Blair sighed helplessly
Finally, they picked out three pairs and Wesley paid for them again
Looking at the guy carrying the shopping bags, Blair quickly caught up to him.
âWesley, Lend me a hand, okay?â
