Chapter 1712
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
Baldwin didnât think so.
âMaybe Niles and Blair arenât a couple. I think you have it backwards.â After all, when she called Nilesâ
telephone and Blair answered it, Cecelia came to the conclusion that they were a couple and were
Living together. Baldwin thought something didnât sound right.
âBut why didnât they tell me?â And then, it hit her. She finally had an epiphany.
âI guess Blair tried to, but I thought she was just shy, and didnât Listen to her.â Cecelia had another
thought.
âBut when the three of us were shopping and Blair told me that, Wesley said that they might have had a
fight.â

âHoly crap! I always thought Blair was Nilesâ girlfriend. Turns out I was wrong. Will Wesley be ticked off
at me?â she thought.
âDid Wesley say they âmightâ have had a fight?â he asked.
âYeahâ¦â
âI get it. Exact words or not, he wasnât entirely sure. But you didnât get it back then. I guess Wesley was
pretty frustrated. But he couldnât tell you because youâre his mom. Since you tried hard to pair Blair off
with Niles, Wesley had to hide his feelings for her. You know him. Poor guy!â Baldwin knew his son
quite well.
Cecelia almost cried.
âWhat should I do? He had a crush on her, and I tried to set her up with his brother. He must be so
sad.â
âYou donât need to do anything. Itâll sort itself out. Blair knows who she wants,â Baldwin said. âShe canât
have feelings for both of them.
No matter which one she loves, sheâll always be our daughter-in-law, â he thought.
âRight! Youâre so smart. Maybe I should call herâ¦â Cecelia suggested.
âNo, no, no. Letâs just wait patiently. If Wesley really has a thing for Blair, weâll find out. Just leave those
two alone, okay?â Baldwin thought things would get worse if his wife got involved.
âALL right.â
After mulling it over a bit, Baldwin suddenly said, âNiles has been really quiet recently. I suddenly have
a bad feeling about this. I need to talk to Dad.â
âIâm sure Niles is stewing. I bitched him out over Blair, and they werenât even dating.â Cecelia felt sorry
for her two sons and Blair.
Baldwin shook his head.
âThings werenât as simple as you thought. Itâs late. Iâll visit Dad tomorrow. I hope Niles isnât plotting
something.â
âYeah, itâs late! Letâs hit the hay.â
Wesley, on the other hand, went to the army base. When he got out of his car, he suddenly
remembered the desserts Blair made for him. So he took them out, went to his office and placed them
on his desk before leaving the office.
Before long, a group of people came in.
âChief, youâre finally back!â
âWe have a meeting tonight?â
