Chapter 1751
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
âokay.â
He leaned against the door, watching her busy figure. A smile formed on his lips.
In no time, she brought a bowl of delicious-smelling noodles to the dinner table.
âGo ahead and eat. My turn for a shower.â
Wesley took a look at the noodle dish. Topped with tomato slices, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, and
chopped green onions, the Look and smell made his mouth water. He grabbed her hand as she turned
away.
âYou donât want any?â
Blair Lowered her head to look at her hand in his. She smiled and said,
A N G E L A âs L I B R A R Y
âNo. I donât usually eat this late at night.â
He let go of her and nodded, âOkay.â
Wesley then sat at the table and ate the noodles himself. He was hungry after his adventure, and those
noodles really hit the spot.
When she came out of her bedroom dressed in pajamas, Wesley was nowhere to be found. The
washing machine was off, and his clothes were all hung up, drying.
The kitchen was clean; the dishes washed and stacked in the right cabinets. Wesley had taken care of
all the chores.
She stood outside his bedroom, thinking, âForget it. He needs to get up early. Heâs probably already
asleep.â
Then she headed for the study. Turning on the computer, she kept busy trying to finish up what she
didnât have time to earlier. Sheâd be doomed if she didnât do it quickly or well. Her supervisor, Filberta
had it out for her. Sheâd make Blairâs life hell if given half a chance.
At midnight, someone knocked on the door. Blair jumped, her heart racing from the sudden, sharp
sound. She was hyper-focused on what she was doing, working in her own little world. She took a deep
breath and realized it was probably Wesley. She wasnât used to him being around.
âCome in, please.â
With her permission, Wesley opened the door and walked into the study.
She was Looking at her Laptop.
âStill up?â
âYeah. I ran into a snag. The paper is in German, and I canât quite get a handle on the translation. Iâm
doing some research on it. Iâll go to bed soon,â she replied with her chin propped on one of her hands.
She ran it through Google Translate on mobile, SDL technology, Reverso
Context, Multitran, and various other translation websites and software, but none of them translated it
well. There were still some
German words that remained untranslated.
These were commercial documents written in German. Jargon simply didnât translate well, and that was
part of the problem. A mistake could cause losses to the company. But Blair wasnât as proficient in
German as in
English.
Seeing her frowning, Wesley silently walked to the desk and grabbed the piece of paper from her hand.
