Chapter 1761
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
âWhom are you going to pick up?â
Wesley paused for a while, and answered honestly, âBlair.â
âWhat? He promised me that he wouldnât bug her anymore!â Hartwell thought angrily after Wesley gave
the name.
âOh really? What a coincidence! Iâm here to pick her up too,â he said impatiently.
âOh! So Blair called Hartwell! Then, I guess Iâd better leave, â Wesley thought .
Just when Wesley was going to speak and take leave, Hartwell sighed and said, âLetâs get inside first
and check out what is going on there.â
Wesley shook his head. He felt it was better to leave.
âIâm leaving now.â Now that he knew Hartwell had come to pick up Blair, he was relieved.
Hartwell was confused at his denial.
âWhy? Do you have any urgent business?â
âNo.â Wesley was not a man who would lie. He told the truth.

âThen come with me.â Saying that, Hartwell took the lead and entered the club. Wesley hesitated for a
while but soon started to follow him.
The hall manager led the way and pushed the door to Room 616 open for them. When the people
inside saw that two men walked in and that one of them was in a military uniform, they went silent.
Wesleyâs gaze swept over the room. It stopped at the woman in Joslynâs arms. Blair didnât see him as
her eyes were closed. She was sipping her beer casually with her back towards him.
When Joslyn saw them, she nudged Blair and asked, âWhy did they come together?â
âWho?â Blair asked in surprise. She was wondering why her friends had stopped singing. She took a
few moments to realize how the room had suddenly gone silent.
âHartwell and Wesley!â
Blair still didnât get Joslynâs point. She shook her head and murmured,
âWho Knows? Maybe for work. Wait! Wesley? Joslyn, am I seeing things? I can see Wesley here.â
Joslyn rubbed her eyes.
âI see him too. That means we are not see things. They are really here!â
Her eyes were fixed as she saw Hartwell greeting the other guys along the way. The two men who had
gotten into the room a few moments ago were now walking towards her and Blair.
Wesley nodded at Joslyn gesturing to say âHi,â and then stared at
Blair, saying nothing. The two just looked at each other. Their gazes were so strongly engrossed in
each other as if the others around didnât exist at all.
Although Hartwell wasnât happy that Wesley and Blair met behind his back, he still asked her, âSo Blair,
whose car are you riding in?â
