Chapter 1832
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
âGarnet, did you use my phone this morning?â
Garnetâs voice was calm as ever.
âYeah. A lot of girls texted you. One of them even sent a video chat request. I shooed her away for you
Wesley closed his eyes and rubbed his arching eyebrows.
âYou wouldnât remember who she was, would you?â
âHer WeChat name isâ¦umâ¦what was it? Bless! Thatâs it. Bless. Why?
Whatâs wrong, Wesley?â
Angelaâs Library
âWhat did you say to her?â he asked.
âNot much. I said a lot of girls liked you⦠I donât think she loves you. She didnât argue with me. I guess
sheâs just some random fangirl,â
Garnet said casually. She didnât think it was a big deal.
Wesley knew Blair pretty well. She wasnât really comfortable around strangers, and so she would
defuse an argument by running away from it.
Now that he knew what was wrong, he hung up on Garnet. Since Blair wasnât taking his calls, he called
Hartwell instead.
Hartwell had just gotten home and didnât know about this.
âHi Wesley.
Happy New Year.â
âHappy New Year, Hartwell.â
âYou didnât call just to wish me a happy New Year, did you?â Hartwell said with a Laugh.
âIâm looking for Blair. Know where she is?â
âBlair? She was at the family reunion dinner on New Yearâs Eve. I havenât seen her after that. Anything
wrong?â
âItâs nothing. Sorry to take up your time. Bye, Hartwell.â Hartwell looked at his phone in confusion.
âWhat happened between them?â The next moment, he saw his wife and forgot about this.
Joslyn was quite pregnant, and this was obvious to everyone. Sheâd gained some weight on top of that.
She walked down the stairs to greet her husband.
âHoney,â she called out cheerfully.
Hartwell pulled her into his arms and planted a kiss on her forehead as if their housemaid werenât
there.
âSorry Iâm home late. Feeling okay?â
âIâm feeling great. Donât worry.â Joslyn knew her husband was super busy, so she never bothered him
with trivial matters.
