Chapter 1841
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
âI knew it! I knew she was lying. Wesley couldnât care Less about romance, â Blair thought. âThe reason
why he kissed me so many times is that I was flirting with him. Of course he was going to do
something.
But just because he let me make him come, doesnât mean he loves me. A hand job is not hand-fasting.â
âShe said she was your fiancee. She also said there were a lot of girls that had a crush on you, and
warned me to stay away. I figured that was how you felt, too. That was why I decided not to fly in
today.â Blair was calm on the surface; deep inside, she was super-nervous. She had long wanted to
know who this girl was to him, but she hadnât had the chance until now.
On the drive over this morning, she had been too sleepy to talk to him.
She slumped in her seat and just closed her eyes, listening to the rhythm of the engine. When she had
finally woke up, they were already at his house.
Blair waited for Wesley to say something-anything. He kept silent, which frustrated and annoyed her.
âLook, if sheâs your fiancee, I can get a hotel. It just wouldnât be a good thing, and I donât want to make
her jealous. And Iâll find a place and move out as soon as I get back home.â
âSheâs not.â Wesley knew Blair didnât mean what she said. She was just babbling, trying to get him to
say something.
Angelaâs Library
âSheâs three months younger than me. Sheâs like my sister.â
Blair wasnât satisfied with his answer.
âSister again? I guess this is the same case as Megan. When is she going to become your Lover?â she
sneered.
Wesley cast a sidelong glance at her and simply said, âWatch your mouth.â
Blair snorted and looked out the window. But when she finally calmed down, she felt a lot better. He
had no feelings for Garnet.
Silence reigned inside the car. After a while, Blair got bored and tried to start a conversation.
âDoes she have a thing for you?â
âDonât know, donât care. I donât think of her that way.â
Wesleyâs answer threw Blair for a Loop. She wanted to make it difficult for him, but had no excuse.
âDo you have a lot of girls hoping to go out with you?â she asked. She wasnât sure if she should have
asked that when she saw the look on his face.
Wesley pulled over and Looked her in the eye. Blairâs heart raced in her chest and she wondered what
he was going to say.
âWeâre here,â he simply said.
Blair blinked her eyes innocently.
âWhat?â
Wesley unfastened his seat belt and got out of the car.
Blair looked around, and saw they were in the parking garage of the shopping mall. Wesley opened the
passenger door and unfastened her seat belt rudely.
âBlair,â he said.
