Chapter 250
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
âThis girl has a whole mix of different graces, â Debbie thought.
âWhat next surprise will I discover about her next time?â Debbieâs mind ran on.
Gently, she shook her head and smiled.
When the two women went back to the ward hand in hand, Megan was lying in bed, surrounded by the
four gorgeous men- every womanâs dream.
Seeing the two women walk back in, Curtis and Carlos came to meet them.
Carlos pulled Debbie away from Colleen to himself and asked, âWhere were you?â
Debbie put on a smile and answered, âWe went to the bathroom.â
Curtis pretended to be surprised.
âYou two went to the bathroom together? Since when did you become so close?â
Colleen joked, âDebbie and I really hit off. We may wear the same pair of pants some day.â
Whether what Colleen had said about Megan was true or not, Debbie felt comfortable around her, so
she echoed, âRight. Iâll try to lose weight from now on to fit Colleenâs pants, if it comes to that.â
Despite knowing they were just joking, Carlos still felt unhappy about what they had said.
âMy wife will never wear somebody elseâs pants.â
Feigning a sulky look, he put his hand on Debbieâs waist and pinched her. âLose weight? You should
put on some weight, â he thought to himself.
Amused at the serious face he was making, Colleen giggled and said to
Debbie, âIn Carlos you have a model husband. Someone worth keeping by any means.â
âReally? I donât see it,â said Debbie to Colleen, rolling her eyes at
Carlos, whose hand was still sliding back and forth on her waist.
âI think you know it. Youâre just too embarrassed to admit it. The way youâre blushing betrays you,â
Colleen retorted as she leaned into
Curtisâ arms, Laughing.
Pretending to be angry, Debbie stared at Colleen and then said to
Curtis, âMr. Loftus, keep your woman in line.â
âNo problem,â Curtis promised crisply.
Debbie gave Colleen a cocky smile.
At this point, Damon put in curtly, âCan you two couples get lost as soon as possible? Why canât you
just keep your Lovey-dovey down a notch in front of the single?â
